BakeitFun Silicone Baking Mat Review

I am a sucker for silicone, I just love it, can't wait till they figure out how to make a frying pan!! So until they do I will just have to love these BakeitFun baking mats, and this is one of my favorite ones and let me tell you I have a few different silicone baking mats. This one has a ruler all the way around it, and it has these tri sized placement circles. These are totally non-stick, cookies, candies, meats, everything just slide right off. clean up is a breeze, a damp soapy cloth and a little hit water. The best way to store these BakeitFun baking mats  are rolled up in a tube and I put a rubber band around mine to keep the tube shape. For the $13.00 you spend on this baking mat over it's lifetime you will not only help the environment by not using parchment paper, aluminum foil, or baking sprays, you will save about $800.00. No other type products I know can save you that kind of money. These are the half sheet size which measure 16.5 x 11 inches.

Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above in exchange for review from Giveaway Service website. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Reference ID: pma65f0f2858823c52bede86fe8d115ff5

Aoleon The Martian Girl #4 by Brent LeVasseur Review

This is part 4 of a 5 part series. This series of books is not a read alone series, you really have to read all of the books in order to really grab the story. And let me tell you it will grab you. It doesn't matter if you are a boy or a girl a pre-teen or a teen, even adults will enjoy this series. I am not really into sci-fi, but the author Brent LeVasseur really knows how to grab a hold to you and drag you in, and not let you go. I have read the first 4 parts of this series and cannot wait to jump into book 5.
In this series Aoleon who is a girl from Mars and Gilbert who is a human boy from Nebraska became friends when Aoleon came to Earth and Her and Gilbert were running from not only the Farmer, whose crops she had been making corp circles in, but also from the U S Air Force, they ended up on Mar's so Aoleon would not be late for dinner. Now they are working together to try and save both planets.

The series is full of action and adventure, and the best illustrations I have ever seen. Before I read each book I have to flip through an look at all the pictures. On My tablet they almost have a 3d effect. They are just amazing.

Ellie Abela’s life has been anything but easy. Tragedy follows her where ever she goes, and she’s been a lot of places. At twenty she’s lived in over ten different states, all because of her dad’s career in medical research. His career is just another list of the causes of tragedies in El’s life. He’s dying, and with every breath he takes closer to Heaven, Ellie dies a little bit inside too.
At twelve she lost her mom in a drunk driving accident, and in a matter of months she fears she’ll lose the last person she has in the world to cancer.
While Ellie’s life has been rife with sadness, Trent Wentworth’s has been a challenge. A drug-addicted mom and a dead-beat dad meant at twenty three he was the adoptive father of his two year old sister. Now at twenty five he’s working his way up the corporate ladder and a struggling single parent.
Each is searching for a cure to the things in their lives dragging them down.
Not all cures are black and white; not all cures save us–and sometimes saving isn’t what we need. Sometimes we just need to realize how lucky we are to be alive, at least for this moment.

Excerpt:
I wrapped my fingers around the steering wheel, and it squeaked with the pressure as my knuckles turned white. The sound echoed through the car as my grip continued to tighten. I used to wonder if it was harder to know you're going to die, or just dying without the ability to say goodbye. The tears began to stream down my face as I sped down the highway. The guardrails were just silver blurs as I hammered the gas.
I shouldn't have wondered it. My life was cruel punishment for the thought. The question should've been what's harder, never getting to say goodbye or knowing that every breath could be goodbye?
My chin trembled as my eyes fell to the speedometer.
I was going too fast.
The highway was too straight; a never ending path in front of me that I wanted to drive on until I fell off the edge of the Earth.
I already had, hadn't I?
My eyes lashes fluttered, the drops of tears weighing them down.
Never getting to say goodbye.
I knew that evil. God, did I know that evil. The look on Dad's face as the phone slipped from his hands, the words forming at his lips never reaching my ears.
I read them.
I knew them.
The shock hit my body, and I desperately wanted to feel something--anything besides the rolling waves of pain. That numbness weighted down my limbs as the physical ache coursed through my veins. The anger and pain crushed down on me until my chest was so tight I couldn't breath. Then I had Dad-- he was always there, despite his own pain. His warmth overtook the shocking cold of loss. He broke the edges that hardened on my soul.
Knowing that every breath could be goodbye.
Now.
That was now.
I lifted my foot off the gas, letting the car slow until I pulled over and stopped. My head dipped between my shoulders as my chest heaved with a sob. I let my hands drop to my lap, red lines marking them where my skin had met too tightly with itself. The tears puddled in my palms.
I knew he was going to die. There was nothing that could stop it. I had to watch it. The pillar of strength when Mom died was withering into nothing in front of my eyes. The numbness that hit me when Mom died was a constant part of my life; it never left. I had just gotten better at hiding it. The chains around what was left of my heart tightened with each passing day. Each day meant there was one less breath. Who would save me now?
My eyes rose to the black sky above me.
There was no cure for Dad.
There was no cure for me.

Coosh Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor Review

The Coosh Upper Arm Blood Pressure Digital Monitor seems to be very accurate, my Daughter is in the nursing field. She used this machine to take my blood pressure and then used her old fashion cuff and stethoscope, and it was with 2 degrees.
This runs on 4 AA batteries which does not come with it. It comes with the arm cuff, and the monitor itself. The digital display is very clear with large numbers that is very easy to read. It has a 1 button start/stop.  The arm cuff is one size fits all, it is velcro.

I did receive my monitor in exchange for my honest review.

AYL Ultra Bright LED Camping Lantern Review

This Camping Lantern by AYL is great. It takes 3 D batteries which are not included. It has 2 light settings, Low, High, and Flashing. It has a metal hanger on top for easy hanging, and it has a folding, swivel hook on the bottom also for easy hanging. This would make a great light for setting on a porch in the evening, or when the power goes out, or for camping.
It is a little over 7 inches tall and about 4 inches wide. It uses LED bulbs that equal 300 lumens. The bulbs should last 100,000 hours. Using decent batteries and low light, this lantern should last about 6 days, according to the company. This is very light weight and water resistant. There is a rubber coating on the top and the bottom, which will help when it gets knocked around or dropped. It comes in a nice box, and would be great for gift giving to anyone who enjoys the outdoors.
I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion.
