Montgomery Manor is book 2 in the The Haunted Series by Allie Harrison. It is also the 2nd book I have read on this series. I have to admit I enjoyed book 1 more but that is not to say that this book was not good in any way. This book centered more on the romance side than the haunted. The book does have lots of Romance, reincarnation, and mystery.
Quint and Megan inherit Montgomery Manor from a distant cousin of Quint's. Instead of selling it they decide to restore it and turn it into a B&B. Quint spends his days and nights for months at the Manor getting it ready to open.. While Meg works at her book store in town.
Just before the grand opening of the Manor roses are delivered to Meg at the book store and they mystery begins. Someone is sending Meg flowers, someone is making whispered phone calls, someone is watching Meg, and then someone attacks her.
Quint is changing. He no longer has the same look in his eyes, he has a crooked grin that was not there before, and he favors his left leg. He is also more attentive and amorous then he has been in their 5 year marriage. Who is this new man Meg is married to? Can it be he is possessed by Joshua Montgomery?
