Review: Letter to Cora by Colleen Nye

I fell in love with this book. It was a tragic story of love and loss as well as loss and finding love for the main characters. I couldn't put the book down. The story was great. It was almost like a story in a story. You had the 2 main living characters starting a life together as well as the 2 main ghost characters trying to find each other so they could resting in peace together.

The book is about: Recently becoming a empty nester and divorcee, American author Nell Price is looking for a vacation in England. While looking online she stumbles across an old mansion for sale and is drawn in. It's 3 AM and without really thinking she immediately calls the realtor. Two months later she signs the papers and owns the crumbling mansion. She starts right away on fixing the old place up and making it livable.

One weekend she decides to work on the old rock wall on the property alone. While replacing the grout on the loose stones she runs across an antique letter from lovers Joseph to Cora. She doesn't think much about the letter at the time. The next day she is working on the wall again and behind the same stone she finds another. She thinks maybe she just missed it the day the day before. Until the 3rd day there is a 3rd letter. Now she knows there were no more letters behind that stone in the wall and she begins to be creeped out.

She meets several people on her journey to figure out what is going on with these letters. One of the people she meets is Reid. Reid is a descendant of Joseph from the letters. He also turns out to be the love of her life. While Reid and Nell are starting their life together they are trying to figure out how to let Joseph to rest in peace. Then Cora appears to them as well now they must figure out how to break the curse and let them both rest in peace together.
