My Review: Chils; A short Story Collection By: Sahar Sabati

I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.
This is a short story Collection. It has 7 stories in it. My personal favorites were the first 2. Double Double and The Mug Shot. The Mug Shot was my very favorite I could of read a whole book based on that one alone. There are quite a few typos in the book but only had to really try to figure out a couple of them. Not a bad read and really short one, if you only have a few hours to read grab this one.

Blurb:
The same people are impossibly spotted in two different places at once; a man considers murdering the husband of a woman he loves; while driving home very early in the morning, a driverless car appears out of the fog and follows two sisters home. Fear of the unknown, emotional intensity, and plain old creepiness will give you chills long after you have finished reading the seven stories in this collection.

Profile Picture - MediumAbout the author:
The author of Spirit Within Club and Chills: A Short Story Collection, Sahar was born the first of three siblings and the first of eight cousins who grew up together. Thrust in the role of head of the brood at a very early age, she honed her imagination by creating stories and plotlines the eight of them could play to all summer long. But soon, her interest in the paranormal took its toll on said brood. Worried on the long-term effects (as well as potential therapy costs) of this continual exposure to increasingly scary stories her oldest was (too) expertly weaving for their terrified ears, her mother gave her a typewriter – and a writer was born. Many books, a couple of screenplays, countless short stories, numerous essays, two blogs, and one Facebook page later, Sahar joined the ranks of Blogcritics, delving into the world of reviews.

My Review of: Unmemorable (Unmemorable Series) by A.P. Jensen

I was given the audio version of this book for a honest review by the Author. I really enjoyed this story, kept me involved with it to see where it would end up going next. Raven is and unmemorable, meaning people meet her turn away and totally forget they ever saw her. In order to remember her you would have to have something of her in one case a lock of her hair braided and tied around your wrist or another was to drink her blood. Raven's mother forgot her when she was 1 day old and she spent her life being ignored in foster care( because no one remembered her). Raven did not know why she was always ignore, she knew nothing about Unmemorables until one day it was all explained to her when she met Cain Henson who explains it all to her. It is a very interesting story follow Raven as she learns of her ability and how it works as well as meeting her Father, who I thinks she wishes she could forget.

My review: Hexed by Heather Graham

Have I metioned I Love Heather Graham? I have never read one of her books I didnt enjoy and My favorite is the Krewe of Hunters series. I love how she keeps you up to date on the members of the Krewe until they all become like old friends. Hexed is the 13th book of the Krewe of Hunters series. You get to meet Craig Rockwell AKA Rocky the newest member of the team. As a teenager Rocky finds the body of his friend Melissa who has been murdered. The book takes place 13 later where he meets Devin Lyle a children's book author. The murders have started up again, and this time he wants to make sure someone pays for his friends death.

My review of: CAT by Julie Dewey

I for the most part really liked this book. Didn't care a lot for all the references to being over weight and a little unrealistically at that. But the story was very entertaining. Cat can get herself into some fixes. In the end it was what I would call a feel good story, the girl gets it all. Cat is an overweight phone sex operator who ends up with her sister's 4 kids being dumped on her. At which point she invites Dale one of her first clients, who she has ore of a friendship relationship with then phone sex, to come stay with her and help out. Cat meets with another of her clients who makes her feel good and ends up pregnant. Dale and her end up falling in love, and All 7 live happily ever after in the midst of some chaos, some action/adventure, a wild birth of the baby, the shows the voice and the biggest looser. You have to read the book to figure out what all this means :)
