Treachery by Lily White

Title: Treachery
Series: Antihero Inferno #1
Author: Lily White
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: May 29, 2019

Ninth Circle.
Treachery.
Also known as Tanner Caine.

He is a temptation with cold, dark eyes.
A man with a seductive smirk and a body built for pure sin.
The linchpin of a group of wealthy bad boys known as the Inferno.

A dark presence that repels as much as he attracts, Tanner is the poisoned apple I want to bite even when I know it will destroy me.

Our story started in college, but I ran from him so far I believed I was safe.
I should have known he’d find me eventually.
I should have known that nobody escapes.

He has me in his sights again with an offer I can’t pass up.
I know better than to make a deal with the Devil.
Not unless I’m willing to pay his sensual price…

(Treachery is Book One of the Antihero Inferno Series. Nine Standalone novels. Nine dangerous men. Nine unrepentant sinners you’ll hate to love.)

“What is your problem with me, Tanner? I haven’t done one thing to you and it seems like every time we get near each other, you’re either yelling at me or trying to make me the butt of some joke.”

In truth, the only issue I had with Luca was that I needed something from her.

If anything, Luca would have been a nice distraction for a night, a warm body to share my bed for however many hours it took for me to get bored with her. But that wasn’t how fate brought us together, and unfortunately for her, I was the bear trap waiting to clamp down on her leg, one she wouldn’t escape unless she gnawed her way out of it.

Nobody likes to gnaw off their own leg.

She would take the deal. If not tonight, then tomorrow. I could be patient when I had to.

“Just take the deal, Luca.”

“No.”

I took one step toward her. She took two steps back. It was a mating dance of sorts between the strong and the weak, the predator and the prey. Her back hit a wall as I closed in on her, my arms coming up to cage her in, my head lowering until the tips of our noses touched and our lips were a teasing inch apart.

Trying not to remember how sweet those lips had tasted the last time we’d been this close, I lowered my voice to a gritty whisper. “Has anybody ever told you it’s easier to catch a fly with honey than it is with vinegar?”

The heat between us was staggering. Never in my life had a girl aggravated me to the point of intense desire. I found myself running a slow trail down her body with my eyes, taking note of the way her chest moved with each harsh breath, how her arms hung at her side, her hands balling and releasing as thoughts raced through her pretty little head.

With each inhalation of the air we shared, the tip of her breasts would rub against my chest, and damn if I didn’t like it.

Who the hell was his woman and why was she being so difficult?

Our eyes met again as my knee nudged her legs to part, a sneer curling my lip to see her eyes widen and her mouth drop open. She was feeling the same thing as me.

I would use that to my advantage.

EXCERPT:

His gaze dropped to her mouth. The need to kiss her overwhelmed him. No other woman had ever believed in him so thoroughly. He would do everything in his power to keep her safe. If only to continue seeing the beautiful expression on her face.

Charlotte Mae trusted him—not his company, not his reputation, not his toys or his tech—with her life. He hoped he didn’t fuck it up, but if he was honest with himself, he didn’t think he could have stayed on the sideline as the others guarded her.

He pulled her forward, her heat pressing against his belly. “Are you sure?” he forced himself to ask, praying she didn’t change her mind.

Her small hands raised to his face, whisper-soft along his skin, until her fingers raked through his hair, his lids turning heavy at her touch. “Yes. I know you’re great at your job.”

His eyes popped open at her strangled words. He caught the flash of pain before it disappeared. “Lola, I’m good at my job. Damn good, but this”—he squeezed her—“this has turned into more than a job… much more.”

Carter smashed his mouth over Charlotte Mae’s. The kiss was far from pretty. Their teeth clinked and their lips were harsh, but the passion in it nearly consumed them. He needed to taste her, to show her that what he felt—albeit unprofessional—was real. More than some job.

The Revenge Plan by Linda Kage

The Revenge Plan
Linda Kage
Publication date: April 29th 2019
Genres: Contemporary, New Adult, Romance

After I caught my boyfriend cheating, I tried to be mature about it with an amicable split. But he took his retaliation too far, and I have officially had enough. No more Miss Nice Haven.

No one is allowed to lie to me, betray, embarrass, and devastate me, fill me with self-doubt, or put my future at risk, and expect to get away with it. He is going to feel my wrath.

Enter Wick Webster, his archenemy.

Nothing would provoke my ex more than to see me moving on with the one guy he hates most, so that’s exactly what I plan to do.

The only hitch in my brilliant scheme is Wick himself. He’s just gotta be all love-not-war and peace-is-the-only-way. He’s more concerned about helping me heal than seeking my sweet revenge.

And what the hell is it about his soothing presence and yummy looks that calls to me until I forget how much pain I’m in? He’s making it awfully hard to use and abuse him for my malicious means. The damn guy is making me fall for him.

EXCERPT:

“You guys are totally off your rockers. I am not having sex with anyone just to get back at Topher. To me, that’d be like drinking poison and expecting him to die from it.”

Bentley gasped, affronted, and pressed a hand to her chest. “Sex isn’t poison.”

I rolled my eyes because SHE hadn’t been cheated on recently.

“Seriously,” Teagan went on. “Sex can be good for you. It’s actually the number one reliever in vaginal atrophy.”

I blinked. “In…what?”

“Inflammation, dryness, and thinning of the vaginal walls.”

“Huh?” I furrowed my brow, wondering how I’d landed myself in a sex-education class.

“You must massage the tissue down there, exercise it regularly and get the blood flowing so it remains healthy and elastic. Otherwise, it’s going to dry out like an unused rubber band and crumble apart.” She balled her hand into a fist as if wadding up something. “Just a brittle piece of hopelessness.”

Ouch.

Why did I suddenly want to wince and protectively cover my hoo-ha with both of my hands? Seriously, I’d just found an old rubber band last week. It had dried up and fallen to pieces as soon as I had picked it up.

Lord, I didn’t want my vagina to crumble apart like that.

But then Bella—bless her soul—rolled her eyes and muttered, “Oh, whatever. She doesn’t need a man to get the blood flowing down there. My faithful BOB has kept me more satisfied and elasticized than any human douche ever could.”

Teagan merely shrugged. “It’s more fun with a real penis though. Just saying.”

“Wow,” Lucy murmured, shaking her head. “JB must have some kind of magical cock to make you talk this way because, before him, you were all like, eww, men are so overrated. Sex is gross. Keep it away from me.”

Lifting her chin, Teagan sniffed proudly and rubbed her swollen belly. “He does. It even sparkles in the sunlight.”

“Ack,” I cried, covering my ears with my hands. “It is so impossible to think of JB that way. He’s like a cousin to me, T.”

“You know, you don’t actually have to have sex with anyone,” Bentley spoke up, making me glance at her in confusion. “You just have to make Topher believe you did.”

“Or…” Bella countered. “As much of a showboat as Topher is, the best way to get back at him would be to just move on and be happy. I have a feeling him seeing you moving on without him might drive him crazier than anything.”

Something Complicated by J.L. Leslie

Title: Something Complicated
Series: Dirty Southern Secrets #1
Author: J.L. Leslie
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: May 7, 2019

I thought I had it all. I lived in the perfect small town in Alabama. I married my high school sweetheart. We were expecting our first child together. Everything was falling into place.

Until it wasn’t.

Life gets complicated sometimes. You can be happily married one minute and divorced the next. You can become a single father to a newborn baby when that was never in your plans.

You can fall for your ex-wife’s best friend.

Yes, life gets complicated. Sometimes it takes something complicated to make everything else fall into place again.

I am a happily married mother of three (two boys and one girl). I live in a very small town in Alabama. Never lived anywhere else. I’ve been writing since my early twenties, but I couldn’t seem to finish a book. I started self-publishing with the encouragement from my mom. Without her encouragement, I don’t think I would’ve done it!

I get my inspiration from life experiences, movies, television, other authors, and music. Music is definitely a big influence on my writing. I can hear a song and it can inspire an entire book for me. I listen to it while I’m driving or before I start writing and it keeps me inspired. I like to put music in my books, even if it’s just one song the characters listen to or hear at some point. Sometimes music has gotten me through the really tough times in my life and that’s why it inspires me.

I like to write fast-paced, steamy romance reads. I like for my males to be alpha-males and my heroines to be strong, but both need to have one weakness- each other. I am an avid reader. I absolutely love romance books!
