My Kind of Perfect by KL Jessop

Title: My Kind of Perfect
Author: K.L. Jessop
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: March 25, 2019

I, Adele Roberts, am a romance author, and it’s the most remarkable career in the world, until I lose myself in the depths of my characters’ love lives and realise theirs are way better than my own.

Determined to find out if ‘Mr Perfect‘ exists, I do the one thing I never thought I would: I sign up for online dating.

Yes, that’s right.

I can only imagine it’s a disaster waiting behind the click of a button—or is it?

Enter Drew Adams.

He’s hot, dreamy and exactly like the kind of heroes I write about in my books, which means he is too good to be true.

Right?

Well, there’s only one way to find out...

5 Stars ➜ "This book gave me the best kind of whiplash as K.L. Jessop seamlessly bounced back and forth between pure comedy and enough heat to catch everything around you on fire with Drew and Adele’s story." ➜ The Red Hatter Book Blog

Kate has lived in South West England her entire life just on the edge of Dartmoor where the moorland goes on for days. It's beautiful, breath-taking and occasionally rather wet.

She is a dyslexic author and finds things challenging which often leads to banging her head against the wall or searching for vodka.

Kate loves anything creative, her college years were spent in the art room, she has numerous qualifications in advanced nail art and as well as writing her passion is photography.

She probably swears way more than she should. Her mum makes the best cupcakes in history, and she goes weak at the knees for a guy with a five o'clock shadow.

The Good Girl’s Guide to Being Bad by Cookie O’Gorman

The Good Girl’s Guide to Being Bad
Cookie O’Gorman
Publication date: April 2019
Genres: Contemporary, Romance, Young Adult

Seventeen-year-old Sadie is tired of being a good girl.

Her Career Aptitude Test results say she’s ideally suited for a career in the clergy (aka a nun), and on top of that, she receives yet another rejection. An aspiring dancer/choreographer, Sadie dreams of being featured on Dancer’s Edge—but they say she’s too sweet, needs more life experience. Her BFF, Kyle, and her oldest friend, 79-year-old Betty, agree: Sadie is in desperate need of a life makeover.

But she’ll need a coach.

Sadie doesn’t lie, cheat or steal–heck she doesn’t even curse (part of the reason she hasn’t checked off anything on her “Carpe Diem List”). Sadie doesn’t know the first thing about being bad. But Kyle’s twin brother, Colton, does. And he’s willing to teach Sadie on one condition: she has to do everything he says for the next month.

A dazzling first kiss, two smokin’ hot brothers and a bet that changes everything. In this enemies-to-more YA romance, Sadie learns:

Breaking the rules can be fun—especially when it leads to happily-ever-after.

Author Bio

I love reading romance books! I feel like being able to lose yourself in
a book in one of the more exciting aspects. The books I love to read and write
will be ones that make you feel for the characters. You should have an opinion
on every character in a book. Whether you love them, hate them, or think they
are up to something.

I live in Levittown Pennsylvania, with my two kids, and two dogs. On top
of starting a writing career I am a full time teacher, and a full time mom. I
love spending time with my kids, although I have to hide the computer from them
when I am writing! I love being active and being able to do any activity
outdoors.

I have always thought as an author the most important critic is your
reader, so I would love to hear from you. If you read the book and loved it or
hated it, tell me. As long as it is in a constructive way I will always answer
and interact with you. I want fans to feel free to tell me what they want for
the characters in the story and what they want to see happen.

“Well, accidents happen, Mr. Reign. You weren’t the only one
called out of work, and I’m sure the girls both learned their lesson.” I forced
a smile, hoping he’d drop the hard-ass look.
No such luck.
I glanced at the principal out of the corner of my eye,
hoping she’d have something to say. But before she could even open her mouth,
the guy spoke again.
“Yes, we can hope this doesn’t happen again. Make sure your
daughter knows that.”
I whipped my head around. “Excuse me? You think my daughter,
out of the blue, on her first day, decided ‘Hey, let’s try and unclog a toilet
and flood the bathroom!’”
He smirked, the only crack in his exterior. “Never happened
before with my daughter and she’s been going here since preschool.”
This guy had some nerve.
“Yeah, well, people change. Not everyone can solve kids’
problems in twenty minutes with a laugh track.” The words flew out of my lips
before I could take them back.
I really needed to learn how to use a filter.
“You really just used a sitcom line?” He raised an eyebrow.
“Well, you are Lennox Reign, aren’t you? Former poster boy,
even with your own milk mustache campaign? I’m sure you raised enough hell as a
teen star,” I spat.
He shook his head, blowing a breath of air out of his nose
as he muttered, “Un-fucking-believable.”
Finally, the principal walked around her desk, putting her
hands out. “Okay, I think that’s enough. Both of your daughters have been given
a warning, and we will make sure this doesn’t happen again. Okay? No need for
language.”
“You’re right, Ambro. Sorry for getting out of hand,” Lennox
said, offering her a smile but not even glancing in my direction.
Ass.

Readeropolis BookTube Your Shelf Anniversary

The
BookTube Your Shelf Daily Reader turns one year old this March. [Cue
the party music!] The time has flown by so quickly. My to-be-read
list has expanded even faster. As a reader, you know that is both a
good and bad thing. LOL!

YouTube
for the Bookish?

YouTube.com
is the second most visited website in the world - where over 1.9
billion logged-in users visit each month. And each day, people watch
over a billion hours of video and generate billions of views. While
many people are aware of the music videos, make-up channels and
gaming channels on the platform, far fewer know about the great
bookish content available on YouTube. BookTube is a community of
content creators on YouTube that film videos about books. The
BookTube Your Shelf Daily Reader is a daily online newspaper
featuring social shares from booktubers (including authortubers) and
some bookish neighbors (like bloggers and readers). Are you familiar
with BookTube?

Once
Upon A Time...

Between
changes in YouTube's algorithm and my book reading taste, it was a
struggle for me to keep up with my favorite booktubers and keep
a look-out for new booktubers. I knew many other fans of BookTube
were having similar problems.

When
YouTube changed it's monetization rules in early 2018, many people,
including myself, worried about it's overall impact on small content
creators. As I looked at my personal BookTube channel list, I
thought, "What can I do to help support and encourage bookish
content creators?" Then poof! The idea for The BookTube Your
Shelf Daily Reader popped into my head. [Yes, with a poof]. What
started out as an idea in March of 2018 has morphed into a passion
project with an online newspaper and email newsletter.

Find
Your Next Favorite...

One
of the goals of The BookTube Your Shelf Daily Reader project is to
help you find your next favorite booktuber. Check out the Videos
section of TBYSDR for suggestions on bookish YouTube videos to watch.
It features over 25 videos each
day.

project is to help you find your next great read. In The BookTube
Your Shelf web newspaper, you'll find a variety of posts like:

    News
  • Book
    Giveaways
  • Book
    Reviews
