As a highly decorated soldier in the US Army, Roxy had always accepted that her job was dangerous. And she understood that someday she might make the ultimate sacrifice for her country and never come home. But little did she know that she should have been keeping her sights focused on the sky, not the battlefield, for the real threat. Kidnapped by intergalactic slavers, Roxy and her fellow soldiers find themselves sold to a cruel and heartless owner who plans on using them as gladiators in an underground fighting ring in the Bel'Tan Galaxy.
Kadothian Warriors Cormac and Nosa have searched their entire lives for their Matriarch. She's the one woman born to love them, the only woman that can save their souls from the madness. When they find out that Roxy is their bride they begin a slow seduction of the prickly Earth woman. Roxy was betrayed by her ex-husband in the worst way, and refuses to even consider a relationship with not only one man, but two. When they discover their alyah has been taken by slavers, Cormac and Nosa will do anything to save her. Even if it means infiltrating the fighting ring deep in enemy territory holding Roxy captive.
Warning- This story is set in the Bel'Tan galaxy where polyamorous relationships are the norm and love in all of its forms is accepted including M/M, M/M/F, M/M/M/F sexual situations. Basically if you don't like hot dudes kissing hot dudes, this may not be the series for you.
With over fifty published books, Ann is Queen of the Castle to her wonderful husband and three sons in the mountains of West Virginia. In her past lives she's been an Import Broker, a Communications Specialist, a US Navy Civilian Contractor, a Bartender/Waitress, and an actor at the Michigan Renaissance Festival. She also spent a summer touring with the Grateful Dead-though she will deny to her children that it ever happened.
From a young age Ann has been fascinated by myths and fairytales, and the romance that was often the center of the story. As Ann grew older and her hormones kicked in, she discovered trashy romance novels. Great at first, but she soon grew tired of the endless stories with a big wonderful emotional buildup to really short and crappy sex. Never a big fan of purple prose, throbbing spears of fleshy pleasure and wet honey pots make her giggle, she sought out books that gave the sex scenes in the story just as much detail and plot as everything else-without using cringe worthy euphemisms. This led her to the wonderful world of Erotic Romance, and she's never looked back.
Now Ann spends her days trying to tune out cartoons playing in the background to get into her 'sexy space' and has accepted that her Muse has a severe case of ADD.
Ann loves to talk with her fans, as long as they realize she's weird and that sarcasm doesn't translate well via text.

If you love MC book this is an awesome one to read. Not only will it get you in the Holiday mood but it will give you a taste of several Authors and several series. These are short stories but they do introduce you to characters, situations, and the MC's each author writes about. All of the stories were great, but I have to admit my favorite was Silver Belles by Avelyn Paige. I have read her Heaven's Rejects MC series and loved getting more of the story on Raze and Darcy. Raze is the head of the Heaven's Rejects MC. He was secretly in love with Darcy since they first time they met but she was with his best friend. After here husband is murdered Raze and Darcy get together. After a series of letter from her husband to both of them after his death they realize that he knew all along that the 2 of them should be together. Their wedding day is set for Christmas, but Darcy's Father has a heart attack and they almost loose him. They decide to put the wedding off but Daddy is having no part of that.
Abigail Spencer loved her job. She was a marine biologist who maintained some of Miami's most spectacular ponds and aquariums. She had the opportunity to travel around the city, meeting new people and working in beautiful locations. So, even though it was just another day at the office when she suddenly met the man of her dreams, she wasn't in an office at all.
Every girl imagines meeting her prince charming. It's doubtful, however, that any of these fantasies include it happening when they're soaked with sweat and knee-deep in pond scum.
Fate can be funny that way.
"Oh, thank goodness!" Tori said when I walked into the office that morning.
She was holding the phone to her ear, but she was talking to me as I approached her U-shaped reception desk. She stared at me from over her reading glasses, and she waved me forward like she had been anxiously awaiting my arrival. I was twenty minutes early, so I had no idea why she was so relieved.
"Abigail's here now," she said to the person on the phone. "She just walked in. I'm looking at her right now. Okay, I'll tell her. Bye."
I stood in front of Tori's desk and watched as she hung up the phone before looking at me with a relieved smile.
"I'm so glad you're here."
"I'm always here," I said cautiously.
"I mean, I'm glad you're early. I was gonna call you and tell you to hurry. That was Lance. We have to rearrange your schedule today. He needs you to head out on a pond job… like right now. It's a priority."
This was definitely another winner! Loved Ash and Abigail and how their relationship grew. Brooke's books are always an instant click for me, I don't even have to read the blurb of what its about. I appreciate that she writes clean books and would recommend them highly. I've read everything she's written and can't wait for the next!!
What a great book! The main characters' backgrounds are refreshingly original. So many romances are formulaic or copycats of other books out there. Additionally, the chemistry between Ash and Abigail is so strong it's practically tangible. This book is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. Read it!
I loved this book- when are the rest coming out?!?!?! I truly relate to Abigail as I am in a profession where I am usually more dirty than clean. I appreciate the religious aspect of the book without it being pushed hard, it's just part of the characters life. Thank you Brooke for amazing books and keeping them at a price that buying the entire series doesn't break my bank account!

EXCERPT
AINSLEY
Beep… Beep…
Floating…I was floating. My body…weightless. For the first time in almost three years, the constant pain that had been pushing on me, threatening to suffocate me…lifted and was gone.
I felt…free.
Beep… Beep…
Finally, I was done and untied, drifting in this place that no longer held me in its terrible grip.
Beep… Beep…
I hovered near the edge, staring down at that empty shell as the doctor and nurses fought to save me. The scene should have sent more anguish through me. The ripped clothes, the chaos, but all I felt was peace.
The body left behind looked like me, but it wasn’t, not really. It hadn’t been me for so long. I had lost myself in that person ages ago.
Something tugged at me, pulling me down, away from the peacefulness I felt and back toward that cold, empty body. My prison. I grasped out around me but only caught handfuls of air. Nothing to hold on to. The pull got stronger. Dread washed over me as I realized what was happening.
I had to go back.
“Push a dose of ketamine, now!”
The weightlessness was out of reach, leaving me confused and exhausted. A new, heavy sensation pushed down on me.
No! I screamed, but no noise left my mouth. Even as the weight of my body and my illness pressed down on me, I longed for the weightlessness I’d felt, the brief glimpse of freedom. I wanted it back.
“Give me a laryngoscope.”
A sharp pain coursed through me, down my mouth, into my throat.
I tried to raise my hand, trying to yank whatever was there away. But it wouldn’t move. The weight was pushing on my hand as well.
No! I screamed again, but no one heard me. It was pointless.
“I’m in. Tube her.”
Finally, I surrendered to the darkness as it closed in, and everything went completely black.
What Readers are Saying:
A heartfelt romance with a powerful message about the sanctity of human life. If you've ever simply needed a friend, The Songs That Brought Me Back will resonate--and leave you thankful for the people in your life. -Taylor Dean, author of I’m With You and Chasing Fireflies.
Another remarkable read by Mylissa Demeyere. Ethan and Ainsley had me laughing and crying as they face their own demons and fall in love while doing it. This book adds even more depth as it confronts suicide head on. Suicide has become an epidemic that some are afraid to address; Demeyere brings it to light from both the victims and the survivors giving us insight on the struggles of so many. It does not disappoint and I, again, am excited to see what comes next from this talented writer. – Amazon Reviewer
A beautiful sequel to The Songs of You and Me that cleverly illustrates that there are always two sides to every story and that it is never too late for love to overcome any challenge. – Amazon Reviewer
“This poignant redemption story about second chances and forgiveness yanked my emotions all over the place. I cried, I yearned, I hoped. A beautiful story about what true love is and does.” - Charissa Stastny, author of Between Hope and the Highway and The Ruled Out Romance Series

natural destruction of the Earth's surface. The surviving inhabitants

intention of ever descending back to the unstable surface
again.

an illusion as her dreams scatter like leaves in the wind and the
only thing left for her to return to will be her hometown.
But
on her way home, an almost fatal car accident on the heavenly highway
turns her life in a drastically new direction. Helen finds herself
crashing down onto the earth's destructive surface and landing in a
forest world that is completely alien to her with a million and one
questions and very few answers.
The
number 1 question being - is it really true what the government told
her and the surviving population that no one ever survived down on
Earth? Well, what if the truth was the complete opposite? What if
there really were survivors?
