I come to, groaning as several of my senses are assaulted at once. A putrid, decaying smell tickles my nostrils, and I’d probably puke if I was human and capable of vomiting. Moans, cries, and screams filter into the room from somewhere outside. Shivers tiptoe up my spine as a blast of cold air sweeps over me, and my arms ache like a bitch. A dull pounding in my head and pain burning at the back of my eyes make seeing difficult, but I push through my discomfort, forcing myself back to consciousness.
Slowly, my vision clears, and my surroundings come into focus.
“Mad Dog and Beck are still unconscious,” Dane says into my mind.
“Where are we, and how the fuck did we get here?” The last thing I remember is being ambushed by Alandra and a bunch of goons outside Kylie’s house. I put up the mother of all fights, but I was outnumbered, and they had the element of surprise. It’s embarrassing how easily they overpowered me after that.
My head spins around, my eyes scanning the small cell. The walls are exposed stone, and the floors are coarse black slate. It’s dirty, cold, and unforgiving under my butt. There is little natural light in the room, the only glimmer of brightness trickling in through a small, open window above my head.
Beck, Maddox, and Dane are all stripped to their boxers, arms elevated, and wrists bound together, chained to the stone wall. I look down at myself, confirming I’m in the same predicament. “Where’s Alinthia?” The connection that bonds my brothers and I to our girl thrashes anxiously about, trying and failing to locate our missing piece. “Where is she, Dane?”

It seems a horrendous assignment for Phyllis Bowden, a young woman in military intelligence assigned to the Office of the Military Attache in the American Embassy in Oslo. SJ SLAGLE started her writing career as a language arts teacher. Her initial interest was children’s stories, but moved on to western romance, mysteries and historical fiction. She has published 24 novels, both independent and contract. SJ contributes regularly to guest blogs and has her own blog called anauthorsworld.com in which she discusses the research involved in the books she writes. Glitter Crunch Box




The Glitter Crunch Box I received it an Italy themed box. Inside the box is some amazing items. When you open the box there is a card telling you what is in the box. Then your remove the paper shreds to get to the good stuff. I do have to say this box is package very well. Nothing seemed to be out of place at all. The box decorated box is the shipping box.

In the box I received a one pond bag of Organic GMO Free Farfalle pasta made in Italy. There is an expiration date on the back as well so you know it is fresh. Then I received a package of Balsamic & Roasted Garlic Veggie Roaster Seasoning Blend. This package will season 3 pounds of veggies. There is a large bar of Peach, Fig Blossom, and Rose soap that smells amazing. There are 2 ornaments int he package as well. One is a hand painted glass Salami. The other ornament is a Italian Santa hand painted and made by Joy To the World. And last but not least a recipe card for Easy Tuscany Tomato Sauce, which will go great with the Farfalle.

Glitter Crunch Box is a subscription service but you can also buy boxes individually. They have a very large assortment of boxes to choose from everything from Coffee to this Italy box. Kids Swim Goggles By Marco Polo



These kids swim goggles by Marco Polo are the cutest swim goggles I have seen. These are the frogs, they are a very bright green each goggle is shaped like a frog. The eye whole is the frog mouth. There s also a gold crown on top of the frogs heads. These glasses have a very stretchy and adjustable head strap. They are made out of a very soft rubber like material on the front and are said to be specially designed to be 100% leak resistant and keep your child’s eyes dry at all times. They are very strong and durable so will not fall apart 5 minutes after being in the pool, ocean, or lake.

I love the unique design of these. They have the green frogs, pink crabs, and blue fish in their Amazon store to choose from. My grand daughter is 6 and my Grand son is 4 and they fit both of them very well. These also come in a plastic case like packaging. You do not have to cut the package just pull it apart and it will also close back up. It is great for storing the goggles when not in use.

INNX Quilted Microfiber/Suede sofa protector




 I received the INNX Couch Covers for pets. It is Made of Quilted Microfiber Suede. It’s made for a couch with the demotions of 74"H x 69"W with a armrest 23.5"H x 20"W which is a pretty standard couch size.

We have a microfiber couch and until I washed the cover it would not stay on. It could be a fluke but after a few washings it still stays on. Also if you do need to wash it I used cold water with tide pods and scent boost and then I dried it on medium heat since I don’t have air dry and nothing came out messed up and I’ve washed it 2 times as of now.

I like that this cover has the little tubes that help hold the cover on however the arm ones don’t seem to help but that could be because my cat likes getting under it and my dogs like sitting on the arms of the couch and then sliding down. Another thing that I like about the cover is it's very well made. Our dog’s being very young they scratch and chew on everything to include the couch cover and so far they have not hurt the cover (or the couch). It could be a fluke but it seems to heat up faster than a lot of couch covers  I’ve had but it wont be a bad thing in the winter just not very good during the summer.
