Culinary Couture Measuring Cups & Spoons
I love to cook and am always looking for new and different gadgets for my kitchen. This time it was a needed search. I have a set of the collapsible silicone measuring cuts, and I melted one when I knocked it to close to the fire on my stove. So I set off in search of a set of metal measuring cups so I don't have this problem again. I found this set of measuring cups and spoons from Culinary Couture.
This is a set of 7 measuring cups and 6 measuring spoons. My old set only had 4 cups. The cups range from 1 cup to 1/8th of a cup. My old set only had the cups in quarters and 1- 1/3 cup. This set has all the 1/3 cups. The lettering is stamped into the metal so the sizes will not wear off. On the sides of the cup there are also different measurements pressed into the metal . On the 1 cup measuring cup on the side it also has lines for 1/2 cup and 3/4 of a cup. This is wonderful, it will save me a few dirty dishes. These also come with a removable ring to hang the cups with.
The measuring spoons measure between 1 tablespoon and 1/8 teaspoon. These are the long kind of flat spoons instead of the round deep spoons. They lay a lot nicer in my drawer. They also come on a removable ring so I can hang them and also take out the spoons I need instead of having to wash all the spoons after just using 1.
This set are made of heavy stainless steel. They are actually quite heavy to what I am used to. These are dishwasher safe.
I am very happy with this whole set and have tossed both my old cups and the spoons.
