Sometimes love gets forgotten …

As a code writer in Silicon Vally, Adam Hunt doesn’t have to worry about money. And as a heartthrob in general, he doesn’t need to worry about attracting women, either. But when he meets Lexi during a Christmas holiday in Lake Tahoe, he’s floored that she won’t give him the time of day after one wild night together.
Now, this sports bum is about to take Lexi on the ride of her life. All she needs to do is hang on!

NOTE: This STAND-ALONE romance contains very steamy love scenes. All of the books in the Great Escapes series can be read in any order.
TOUR STOP The Accalia by H.L. Girton with interview
Two:
you sure you accept this punishment in place of Liam?” Jerimiah asked as
steadily as he could before his voice broke off.
said coolly, keeping my eyes on Liam. “I love you,” I whispered to Liam as the
whip cracked down across my back.
out of my eyes and across my cheek as the pain from the whip seared through my
body. The nerves burned where the warm blood leaked out across my back. My
knees buckled beneath me as I tried to remain strong. I would not appear weak
in front of these people. They would not break me or change me.
Interview with H.L. Girton
Where do you get inspiration for your stories?
The first story I ever wrote, which has not yet been released, I got inspiration from, from a real life event that I experienced. It was a heartbreaking event that brought about an emotional change and created struggles that so many people experience. It provided me the motivation to write something that many can relate to. That story will release in the future as a standalone.
For the Accalia I got the idea and inspiration from it, because it is what I love. I enjoy paranormal romances and adventures. It allows the mind to create a world so different from the one we live in. I began to think, there are too many vampire stories and I had always been team wolf. But what sparked my interest even more with this story is the idea of mythology and nymphs. The whole world behind Greek mythology and what nymphs were to them sparked my interest. I took the idea of creating elemental nymphs and made that the foundation for this series.
How did you do research for your book?
Research is constantly being done. When I plotted The Accalia I wrote everything down in a journal. I have ideas, scribbles, character charts, etc. all laid out into this journal for my references. I wrote out ideas and thought that could become possibilities and then I further looked into the history of even the slightest details to make sure that it was possible. I did hours of internet surfing and research on mythology and even furthered the research with character names, giving each character a meaningful name depending on who they were and what they are meant to accomplish in this series. I am more than positive I spent more time researching than what it took for me to sit down at my computer and let the words flow onto the page.
Do you have another profession besides writing?
I do not currently have another profession outside of writing. I am a full time mother to three beautiful children. They take up the majority of my time and attention. I love being fully active in the community with them. We are a very active family. My daughters are gymnasts, with my oldest being on the competitive levels. So, if you had to say I had another job it would be supporting and encouraging them to be the best that they can in what they love to do.
On a personal level I enjoy photography. I am a hobbyist photographer. I would not go to say I am a professional. I found a love for it around seven years ago after the passing of my son. It was a hard time and photography gave me a way to capture the love and life that still lived on in this beautiful world. It was healing.
If you could go back in time, where would you go?
Time is a funny little thing. There is so much that history holds that I would say I would love to experience. So much has happened in so many eras that have cause trials and tribulations. So many wondrous adventures to be had. If I had to absolutely choose one time to go back to, one major event that meant something to me, I would go back to the day my son was born. It may sound cliché and it’s not a publically known event or time, but for me it was the beginning of a time that changed me to be who I am today. It would give me that chance to relive a short moment of my life that was full of so much love and tragedy. To be able to see how precious that moment was and how it has not only touched my life but many lives around me. It’s miraculous. It’s a part of history and a part of me. That moment pushed me to love in a way I never dreamed possible. It made me cry and hurt in a way I never imagined I could. It motivated me to live and accomplish the things that I dreamed and longed for. It made me believe in my writing and that others could possibly love it as much as I did.
What is your next project?
My next project to be released is the sequel to The Accalia. I have a few books waiting in line for edits and publishing. They are written out ready to be perfected and released into the world. The Curse, Book Two in The Accalia series will take readers further into the world Genesis has found herself pulled into. It will make readers fall in love with the characters even more than what they had in book one. It will keep you guessing and make you excited for how the characters grow together and what their roles are. Their destiny begins to unfold in book two. It is just the beginning.
BABY PILLOW for newborns from KIMOPA
5*
This pillow is very nice. It is small and shaped like a hear. There was absolutely no smell to it when I opened the package. The pillow is made from memory foam and covered in a very soft material. The pillow is washing machine safe. There is an indention in the pillow the perfect size for babies head. In the center of the indention is a hole that will help with flat head syndrome. Flat head syndrome comes from baby laying on their back, it flattens out the back of the head. Baby's head will fit in the hole to give the back of the head a chance to round back out. Make sure baby is on their backs only while using this pillow. Pillow is recommended from birth to 6 months.
With the pillow you also get a nice ergonomic pacifier. The pacifier also comes with a nice plastic cover, great for diaper bags while on the go. The pacifier is made from plastic with a soft silicone nipple on it. The pacifier should be sanitized before use.
This really is a nice set. This pillow is great for new or expectant parents and would make a great baby shower gift. I wish these had of been around my when my kids were babies, but at least my Grand Baby will be able to benefit from this pillow.
Vintage 6-pack Edison Bulb by Attican
Great vintage light bulbs. These bulbs can give any lamp or light fixture some class. These are 60 watt bulbs. They are 370 lumens of brightness. They are quite bright by themselves. They have a amber glow to them instead of a white light. These can be used to help with an ambience in most rooms. They give a nice rustic feel.
The bulbs are a good inch to inch and a half longer then regular light bulbs. The glass is clear so you can see all the filament inside. These have a E26 base on them and can be used in most lights and lamps. Each bulb will use and estimated $7.20 a year in energy.
This is a 6 pack set. Mine came delivered in a cardboard box with each bulb packaged into a separate cardboard box inside. The bulbs were packed in tightly to keep them from bouncing around.
Fairyland Beauty Sponge Blender Set
5*
The most complete set I have of beauty blender sponges. The set comes with 3 sponges, 2 silicone blenders pads, an adorable sponger holder , a very nice hard plastic case for the silicone blenders, and all of it comes in great locking plastic case all gift wrapped.
The 3 beauty blender sponges are all very soft. I personally really liked these blending sponges. they do not feel like sandpaper on my face like some I have tried. They do not drink the makeup in and not let it back out, so I don't feel like I was wasting makeup. I liked the size of these. They are not to small or too big. I am able to get around my eyes easily with the pointed tips.
I love that this set comes with the cute little egg with leg looking sponge holder. It is great for setting the sponge while using it and also set it in after us and washing it out so it can dry.
The silicone beauty blender also works nicely it is soft and very flexible. The small case that comes with it makes it easy to take on the go.

The Truth about PS Boyfriends by Sunniva Dee book blitz
The Truth about Porn Star Boyfriends
Sunniva Dee
Publication date: August 15th 2017
Genres: Contemporary, New Adult, Romance
I guess I just forgot.
To ask him what he did for a living, I mean.
And by the time I did, I was in—balls deep, as he’d call it.
He was the perfect boyfriend.
Attentive, gorgeous, guessing my every wish and fulfilling them.
The sex was earth-shattering.
He even dealt with my crazy mom the way no one else could.
He popped the question, God, such a perfect guy.
There was just one issue:
He f*cked other girls on camera for a living.
How the hell do you deal with that?
—
EXCERPT:
I slept over at his house. I did. I just couldn’t go home after everything he told me. I didn’t accept the invite to come with him on the boat today though. I didn’t ask him if he was going without me either. If he is, wouldn’t he be inviting some “friends,” some Alicias or Silks? I don’t want to know.
It’s not difficult to get my shifts back at Mintrer’s. With Il Signore’s nonna at the hospital, the family spends as much time at her bedside as they can.
Mom calls.
She sounds okay.
I need to verify in person even though Paul is next door, hopefully keeping her busy with his garden statues and homemade fountains. He likes my quirky mother because he’s quirky himself. That’s my guess anyway. I don’t think I can handle any new rocks hurled at Status Quo at the moment, especially not from Mom.
The boat is ready.
I only returned to my house two hours again, and this is what Ciro texts me? I roll my eyes. Frieda lowers the bagel she held up for me—everything or just sesame seeds?—and says, “That isn’t the porn star, is it?”
“Yeah, it’s Drake Constantine.” I pull out the syllables mocking him even though each sound opens my chest again.
“Well, at least he’s got a nice artist name. He’s no Jake daBoner or Cassius Erectus.”
I snort.
“Drake Constantine boned me in the ass last night,” she quotes as if from Shakespeare. She gazes beyond the bagel she now holds up like a skull.
I chuckle a little bit, and Frieda smiles. Smiles so wide it makes me feel guilty over everything I’ve put her through. I know she suffers with me. She didn’t sleep last night knowing I was with Ciro.
“What’s he saying?”
“He tells me he’s got the boat ready.”
“For that Catalina trip?”
“Mhmm.”
“You’re not doing that too, are you?” She drops the halves of the bagel into the toaster.
“Not the everything,” I say. “Can I have the sesame seed one instead?”
She presses her mouth together in a stern line but listens and fishes the everything one out and drops the sesame bagel in instead. “Happy now?”
“Very.”
“You’re not going, right?”
“No.” I want to slap my heart and my body for agreeing that we should say yes. “I already told you. I’m visiting Mom this morning, and then I’m working. If I get to do some overtime this weekend, I’m happy. I need the money, and I really don’t want to mope around the house.”
I’ll wait for you if you’re asleep.
I said I wasn’t going. Can’t. We
I hit “send” before I can finish the “We’re over, remember?” part. It was easier to yell it to him when I was furious. Today, I don’t know how I feel.
Why can’t you? He doesn’t ask about the We part? He knows.
“He’s so stubborn,” I murmur and type again.
Because, when are you seeing someone else for a f*** fest?
He deserves that I’m being crude. Hell, he’s being crude every hour of every work day.
He takes a moment to reply. Long enough for Frieda to scoot a plate and the tub of cream cheese in front of me. “Stop texting with him. You’re only dragging it out. You know that, right? I thought you’d blocked him.”
“He has a work phone too. On-freaking-call cell. Ha!”
