#Aposon HP3192 Women Big Face Fashion Watch

4*

Wow What a watch!! It says it is a big face but I was stunned when it arrived and was soooo big. I love the super bright orange face and band. There is nothing abut this watch that doesn't stand out and grab your attention. This is truly a fashion statement.

The band is very comfortable on my wrist. It is a wide band. The watch is a little heavy but not to the point where you feel like you are carrying a brick on your arm. I love how the hands really stand out on the face. Makes it very easy to tell the time.

This does come in a lain brown paper box.  Which you can see by my fingers in the picture. Would make a great gift. It looks a whole lot more expensive then it is. And it is water resistant to 30 meters.

#Aulexy Pilate Yoga Socks Anti-Slip 4 Color - Black White Grey Pink

I am in love with these socks. They are so soft on my feet. I love the puppy paw prints on the non skid bottoms. They are very comfortable to wear not only while doing yoga but around the house as well. Not pictured are the pink socks, they are in the laundry. I can't keeps these socks off my feet. They just feel so good while wearing them. There is a band around the middle for arch support, it is very comfortable on my feet. I love how I never slip or slide whether I am on the tile floor or the wood. They are warm when my feet are cold but are just right when they are not. These are easily the most comfortable socks I own.

Yestone Collapsible foldable Silicone Water Bottle 17 Oz

I love my new water bottle. I froze the bottle about 1/2 full of water then added cold water to it and took it to a child's birthday party yesterday. The bottle held up great even when it was knocked over a couple of times. I noticed no leaking either. I love that it has an attached carabiner to it. My husband and I walk in the evenings and carrying a water bottle is not always fun. They tend to get heavy and my hand is always full. With this super light weight bottle I can carry it or clip it to a belt loop. I love how easy it was to clean, I personally hand washed it. I like that there is a band attached for rolling it up and making storage space very minimal, not that I will be storing it often. My husband wants one now too.

Ajazz Firstblood RGB Hard Gaming Mouse Pad, Colorful 9 Lighting Modes Touch Control

5*
Really nice mouse pad. It's very large approx. 13 1/2 by 12 inches. The kids and I love that it lights up. I love how easy the mouse rolls across it. Watch the attached video to see it in action and hear more of my review.

The War Queen by J.M. Robison

Fantasy
Date Published: Oct 2016
Publisher: Tirgearr Publishing

 photo add-to-goodreads-button_zpsc7b3c634.png

300 years ago, the people dethroned their king and queen to prevent another tyranny. Now instead, the people nominate a State Head every three years and Altarn is the first female to hold the position. She’s used to tolerating the biases of men but Kaelin, the State Head of his territory, has declared her incompetent and has even, according to Altarn, threatened to steal her land – she believes he wants to make himself king. Believing she must “dethrone” Kaelin, Altarn rides to her last ally to ask for aid in the war against Kaelin she knows is coming.  But in her absence an army launches an attack… and it’s not Kaelin’s.

Taking advantage of the startling situation, Kaelin kidnaps Altarn so he can take her land without her in the way. Soon realizing he needs her help to fight this army instead, he releases her and, since Altarn’s army is too small to win the war alone, she is forced to accept his help, but payment for his help will be her land. No one believes Kaelin is secretly trying to make himself king, so after the battle is won, alone in her knowledge and lacking allies, Altarn must become the War Queen of legend to dethrone another king… though she unexpectedly dethrones his heart instead.

EXCERPT:

#1 He exhaled and leaned back, crossing a boot over one knee. “It’s different for Ruids. We discuss war plans every week because of our pirate problem. The mood is different, the light in our eyes is different. It’s life and death we speak of, and that holds a special kind of ceremony we honor in our speech, in our manners, and our dress.”
“Why would my dress not honor this ceremony?”
“It might…except you look like a damn princess. I don’t know about Blindvar, but we killed our princesses long ago. Your people don’t want a princess. They want a war queen. A princess can’t handle the emotional responsibility of sending people off to their deaths, but a war queen can.
“You’d be surprised how willing your soldiers would be to die for you, so long as you did it without crying as they march away. They need to be reassured you’ll hold your ground when they cannot.”
