(Snowfang #1)
Publication date: October 11th 2016
Genres: Adult, Paranormal
Centuries of political games killed most of the female werewolves. Now only a few survive, and the Elders work to change the old ways of thinking.
Winter, the only daughter of the SilverPaw Alpha, finally meets the soul Gaia has chosen for her: Sterling, the cold, demanding, and entirely-too-human Alpha of the tiny SnowFang pack.
Thrust into a world of human wealth for which she was never prepared, Winter must become Sterling’s flawless wife and Luna from the moment she arrives. The city is full of threats, both werewolf and human, and Sterling’s past is full of secrets best left undisturbed.
When they are betrayed by those closest to them, Winter and Sterling embark on a dangerous game of brinkmanship that will change their lives, and the future of the werewolves, forever.

EXCERPT:
Sterling had been prepared to be resentful and distrustful of me, certain I was playing along with some ploy to part him from a large chunk of his wealth, or ruin him in some way. Knowing that wasn’t the case after all had to have been the final insult. Him thinking he had been bullied and played, just to find out he wasn’t even worth toying with.
Sadly, for both of us, this wasn’t as simple as me being my father’s pawn.
It would have been a hell of a lot more straightforward if I was bait, and Sterling the nice woolly sheep being led in for fleecing.
Him sleeping apart from me wouldn’t make things any better between us, or easier on the pack. It’d make things worse.
Sterling’s lips compressed a little tighter.
“I won’t make off with your virtue,” I told him.
A glint in his hazel eyes, like a knife twitching in and out of direct light. He leaned forward, his voice like a hand through my fur, “Whatever virtue I had was made off with long ago.”
A little color crept to my cheeks, my insides squirmed, but not from fear. What would those hands feel like on my skin? Rough like the scrapes and callouses on them, or gentler? Angry, perhaps. His fingers pulling through my hair, perhaps just a little too rough.
One thing at a time. Maybe I should find out how his hands got that scraped up before I let him touch me with them.
Sterling kept watching me, observing, learning my every nuance and tick, as mates—especially Alphas—will do. He came to the conclusion my body wasn’t actually on offer just yet. “You trust me to not lay a paw upon you.”
“Should I not?” I asked.
He leaned closer, his breath on my cheek, his lips very close to mine. “When I shake off the shock, Winter, I would not trust me.”
His words were like a rough caress, sending fire over my skin and a single shock through me. Desire overrode the haze of rattled anger and insult. I think I might have whispered something monosyllabic, and certainly imbecilic. It didn’t matter. He closed the final breath of distance between us, his strong body pressed mine against the wall, and kissed me.
I had never been kissed like that. Hard. Rough. Hungry.
My fingers found his shirt and jawline, one set twisting into the fabric, the other raking fingernails along his flesh, enjoying the painful bristle of his unshaven skin.
He grabbed a handful of my thigh, lifted me against him, his touch rough and everything I had never known I needed. No, not rough enough, not nearly enough. He felt so strong, so solid, so rough under those tailored human clothes.
I gathered myself and pried him back a few degrees. “Not tonight,” I breathed. “Gaia may have chosen you for me, but I want to see why.”

6th Grade Revengers Blast
6th Grade Revengers: Cat Crimes and Wannabes by Steven Whibley
Jared and Marcus aren’t like other 11-year-olds…they’re also Revengers. They fix problems and they’re awesome at it-at least, they will be if they ever get a chance to show off their skills. What they need is exposure. Luckily, they have the perfect target in mind: Jared’s sister’s boyfriend. He’s a jerky, wannabe rock star, a relentless bully and he smells like old gym socks.
Enough is enough. The tone deaf jerk’s days are numbered. There’s only one hitch: Marcus already offered their services elsewhere. A stray cat with serious aggression issues apparently has a whole neighborhood boarding up their windows. What the boys think will be an easy-money job quickly turns into a dangerous game of wits. The cat’s a monster. It takes all the ingenuity the boys can muster to deal with this beast.
Two targets at once. It’s time to prove themselves as the awesome after-school problem-solvers they know they are. That is, if their plan doesn’t backfire. Because they’ll either be feared fixers or a couple kids who can’t even take out a kitten.

Excerpts
One of my favorite TV shows was about a spy who couldn’t be a real spy anymore so he went around helping people with their problems. In a way, that was exactly what I’d done for Sky. She had a problem, and I fixed it. I wasn’t sure what that would be called, but there had to be thousands of people with problems—problems like evil bosses, jerk teachers or pain-inthe-butt sisters—who needed someone to help them deal.
Someone like me.
I grabbed a notebook and pencil and started brainstorming all the ways I’d make it work. Eventually my brainstorm became a brain typhoon, or whatever it is when your imagination gets out of control. Brain tornado maybe. The ideas came faster than I could write them down. There was no limit to what I could do. Bullies would disappear from playgrounds. Mean babysitters would never sit again. The possibilities seemed endless.
Pretty soon it was after midnight and I had a notebook filled with ideas.
“Jared Moter: Avenger of the Little Guy,” I said to myself as I crawled into bed. No, avenger wouldn’t work. That was already a comic book and a movie. Revenge-inator? That sounded like a robot from a sci-fi movie. It had to be cool. Had to be catchy. “Problem Assassin?” I shook my head. I wasn’t really killing stuff and besides, assassins were cool in movies and video games but not in real life. I lay there staring up at the ceiling for a long time.
Just before I fell asleep, I found the right word.
Revenger.
Excerpt #2
Clicking on the video link, Marcus pulled up a shaky image of a street lined with houses.
“Isn’t that Oak Street?” I asked.
“Yeah, looks like it. That’s only a couple miles away. But just wait until you see this.”
“Oh… wow!” The wow practically fell out of my mouth as a dog-sized cat leaped out at a kid on a bike. The cat swiped at the bike tires, instantly flattening one. The kid toppled over, got up, and ran. A mailman came into the picture. He saw the cat and stopped. The cat saw him and charged. Mail flew into the air. The cat headed straight for the mailman’s leg. Orange fur flew. We didn’t have sound, but the mailman’s mouth opened with a scream. He started kicking but the cat had his leg. He swung his bag and knocked the cat off him. The guy ran, his shredded pants leg flapping.
The cat shook himself off then started prowling straight toward the camera.
Shaky-cam went ultra shaky.
The cat lunged and everything froze with giant white fangs headed for the camera.
Marcus swiveled his chair so he could face me. “Look, I know Gunner is a problem for you, and I’m fully on board with getting that guy out of the picture. But dude, if the Revengers take care of this cat, our reputation will explode.”
“Yeah, Gunner’ll have to wait. Let’s go check out this killer cat.”
We grabbed our bikes and headed for Oak Street.

Book Blitz for: Skye (The Dragon Kings #4) by Kimberly Loth
Skye
Kimberly Loth
(The Dragon Kings, #4)
Publication date: October 19th 2016
Genres: Paranormal Romance, Young Adult
Rowan Winters is completely in love. With a shifter dragon.
But the drop-dead gorgeous Skye only thinks of Rowan as her best friend. But when she turns up in his room in the middle of the night in tears, he yearns to do whatever he can to help her. Even if that means running away and letting his family think he’s dead.
Skye’s entire world turns upside down the day her scales turns black. She knows she’ll have to flee to find answers. But she wasn’t planning on Rowan coming too. She just wanted to say goodbye. He is so eager to help that she can’t leave him behind even though she knows she’ll never be able to love him in return.
Together, they fight off murderous dragons and uncover sinister plans. But can they find the answers Skye so desperately seeks? And can Rowan sacrifice everything he knows to win her heart?
This was her fault. Pearl had told her to keep Aspen safe. Instead she’d gone and made everything worse. Maybe if she’d kept Aspen at home, Sid would’ve been fine.
If she’d never given Sid that damn loyalty seal, she wouldn’t be this close to death. She wasn’t sure what she was thinking at that time. Part of her thought he’d make it. Another part didn’t care whether she lived or died. It wasn’t like she’d have much of a life anymore.
When Sid became King she found Everett and begged him to remove the seal that marked how much she loved him. He did and now she longer had a swirl of gold on her ankle. But Everett warned her there would be a price to pay. She gladly paid it at the time, but but she hadn’t expected to feel so empty.
For a half second she thought about heading to Everett’s instead of her parents. Maybe he could remove the loyalty seal before she died. She shook her head. How cowardly of her. The price would not be worth it. That was for sure.
She was only fooling herself though. She would make the same decision if given the choice. Aspen was the only way they could possibly survive. When Skye dropped Aspen off , there were three possible outcomes. One, she and Sid would die and all those with loyalty seals would as well. Two, Helios, the final dragon that Sid needed to secure all the loyalty seals got to him before the council had a chance to killed him. Or three. Aspen could be become queen. She’d have to convince the council that she should be queen and pass the queen’s tests She hoped Aspen could do it.
She felt her wings tiring. This could be the beginning of her death. She hadn’t known anyone who had died because of the loyalty seal and didn’t know how it worked. She spotted a lake below her and decided to stop and get a drink. She had to make it home.
Skye landed a little rougher than normal. This had to be the end. She staggered over to the water and took a deep drink. The water sparkled under the full moon. Skye stretched her wings out and swiveled her neck around to scratch her nose. She froze. Her wing was no longer silver.
This must be part of her death. Or at least that was what she tried to convince herself of. Adrenaline coursed through her veins and she no longer felt tired. Dragons didn’t change color before they died. In fact dragons never changed color. Except when they became king. Then they turned black.
Skye spun neck around the other direction. It was more than her wings that had changed. Her whole body was now a deep coal black.
This was impossible. There was no way she could become king. Sid was king. Unless he died. Then someone else would take his place, but that someone had to be a full royal dragon and male. Of which she was neither. There had to be some huge mistake. This had to be a dream. She stuck her head in the cold water and came out again. Still black. This wasn’t possible.
Unless.
That stupid prophecy.
The one that said three kings would rise. The one that said they could come from other races. But she was still female. Something was definitely wrong. She was also still very much alive. She couldn’t go see her parents now, not like this. No, she had to go see the one dragon who could explain how this happened.
She wracked her brain trying to think of everything she’d learned about the prophecy. She loved history and so she studied a lot, but this baffled her. Nothing in the prophecy said anything about a girl. She’d spent hours listening to Everett’s boring details about the prophecy, yet he hadn’t mentioned that females could become kings. He was so in for it.
