Virtual Name Before the Masses Tour for Divine Touch by Kristy Denice Bock

Divine Touch
by Kristy Denice Bock

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
GENRE: Fantasy/Paranormal Romance
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

BLURB:

Finding a naked man where Werewolf bones once were should have let Kate know she was in for an unusual day! Nothing could have prepared her for the discovery that her mother is a Goddess, and that nothing in her life would ever be the same. Zane DeSeville spent five centuries trapped in a prison of his own body only to be awakened by the image of the woman who caused his entrapment. After Kate discovers that she’s the daughter of a Goddess, another bombshell is dropped in her lap. She has to pass three Trials of Humanity, or she’ll be imprisoned as Zane had been, and Zane would be her judge and jury!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt:
Zane found himself liking the strange young man. His appearance was something Zane had never come across before, but that didn't seem to detract from his character, rather it enhanced it.
“Okay look, I'm just going to get this over with,” Cole said. Without a further word on the subject, Cole's head leaned back as his body changed to a form Zane was all too familiar with.
Zane tried to maintain rigid control on the beast within him. The desire to prove alpha status could not be contained. His fingers shook, the need to dominate drove him. The idea of harming the young wolf made him fight hard to control himself.
It was a heedless battle, but the beast would not be contained. The harder he fought, the more the beast raged. He felt the change come upon him before he could control it. His senses heightened, he could smell the other wolf’s presence. With his last coherent ability, he projected his thoughts out, telling the young wolf to run. The beast was free.
The young wolf cocked its head to the side, looking at the larger version. It dropped down on its hindquarters, extending its front paws forward with its head lowered. The beast recognized a sign of submission. The beast stood over the young wolf and growled. It remained unsatisfied with an unearned submission. Its jaws snapped at the young wolf’s ear, causing the smaller creature to jump back in surprise.
The beast goaded the wolf until it openly attacked. Their sounds of aggression filled the room as they wrestled each other to the ground. Though the younger wolf was smaller, it made up for its lack of size by speed and agility. When its teeth sank into the foreleg of the older wolf the battle turned. It went from a token fight to a fierce battle of wills. The younger wolf continued to use its smaller statute to its advantage.
Each time the beast would force the wolf down, it would find a way to escape the hold. With each passing moment a respect was gained. Respect, however, was not something that was worth losing over. The beast howled in delight as his teeth bit into the neck of the wolf, pinning it to the ground.
“When your pissing contest is over, I was promised ice cream, a movie, and Holland.” The beast recognized the scent of its mate. It let go of the wolf and backed away.
A scream caused all heads to turn in the direction of the door Kate had just entered. The beast watched in disgust as the pale creature crumpled to the ground.
Interview with Kristy Denice Bock
What Is the Inspiration for your books?
This question always derails me when I get asked it. I think there are some writers that will read something that will inspire them, or see something that inspires a tale to spring forth from their fingertips. Me? I sometimes wonder if I'm not a little certifiable as everything inspires me. I can be driving down the road, and see a single green leaf left during the onset of fall colors. That singular difference will spawn a story of an Elven princess ready to defend a dying kingdom.
Divine Touch came from a video game that I used to work for. I loved creating an environment where players could interact with the Gods and be defined as good or evil based on the choices they made. I loved Greek mythology throughout the years of my life, but always felt the deck was stacked against women. So, I guess you could say the inspiration for Divine Touch came from Zeus sleeping with every female that his gaze fell upon, and the females being punished for his transgressions.
In Divine Touch, the world, as it's known to humans, is a matrilineal society. There are six Goddesses. Two of Light, Two that are neutral, and two of dark. They are omnipotent beings that protect the earth and all its natural inhabitants. They are creator Goddesses who can create life, but didn't create humans.
Because of the awesome power they have, a council was designed to work as a checks and balance system. The Goddesses cannot interfere with human life. Their children must go through trials to be allowed to live among the humans. This is the premise for the story Divine Touch. The lead daughter has to prove her ability to put human life first or she will be put to death.
I hope you enjoy reading Divine Touch as much as I've enjoyed writing it. I look forward to getting to know you. Please let me know what you think in the comments below!
Kulaton Door Stopper - Big & Bulky - 2 Pack
I have tried several door stoppers over the years but most of them are too small to actually hold the doors where I want them. These are super tll and work amazingly well for holding the door in the position I want.
  I have 2 dogs who like to roam in and out of the bedroom most of the night and one of my dogs has only 3 legs. My bedroom door is at the bottom of a set of steps and as he comes down the set of steps he doesn't come down slow so smacks the door with his head and flings it all the way open. My daughter gets up for work around 4:30, the light at the top of the stairs comes on and wakes me up. This way I can leave a wide enough crack for the dogs to run in and out and it works great. I also gave one to another daughter who lives in an apartment and her door auto shuts when you let go of it. She is using it to prop the door open just a bit while she it carrying groceries and stuff in.
Saganizer Compact carpet sweeper and floor sweeper
  I am very happy with this carpet sweeper. It is so much easier then dragging out the vacuum for small messes. Works great on throw rugs that the vacuum tries to eat also. My Dog has his favorite throw rug he loves to lay on and it is always messy. I took some pictures of his mess and how it looks afterwards, they are below.
  This is so easy to use. The handle comes in 3 pieces. They screw together then screw onto the vacuum head. There are 2 openings on the bottom where the dirt is collected. They pop open easily buy pushing on a corner. This has not accidentally opened so far. I have mine stored put together, but it can be stored in the box it came in for space saving.
Book Description for Right or Almost Right:
Right or Almost Right is based on John Haremza’s 25 years of success in network marketing. It’s John’s answer to the questions so many ask such as, “Where’s the money? Book Trailer:
Right or Almost Right Q&A for Teresa
What was your inspiration behind the book?
I meet so many dedicated, sincere, hardworking distributors who are not seeing the results they expected and they all ask “Why?  Why am I not seeing the results I hear so much about”?  Those questions inspired me to get my thoughts down on paper.
What did you learn in the process of writing your book?
The book was actually a very good reminder to me of so many things I do automatically without thinking.  I wanted to get them into a book to help others.
What advice would you give to someone just starting?
Your company will have a system that has worked for their distributors.  Follow that system as carefully as you can.  Do not reinvent the wheel.
Mindset ties into everything.  It affects all we do.  I could get into great detail but it’s as simple as, “If you think you can, then you can”.  Ask yourself constantly, What am I thinking about?”
How would you suggest people use your book?
First I would like to see “Right or Almost Right” used for inspiration.  I want to inspire the reader to believe first in themselves, then in our incredible industry and then in their company. I shared my story so they can say, “If John can do it with his background, they I can do it.”
Then I want them to define how they do their business by using the “Rights vs Almost Rights” I outline in the book.
Then I would like to see them use the “Rights vs Almost Rights” as a blueprint with their team.
My Review
This is the first installment to the new Scottish Werebear series by Lorelei Moore. It is a quick read and I am ready for book 2. As with many series book one is a prelude to the rest of the series.
I liked Ms. Moore's writing style. She keeps you involved without drowning you in descriptions. She has just enough description of the surroundings to let you picture it in mind but not bore you. At least that was the way it was for me. The story flowed nicely and at times you wanted to shake them both to wake them up to each other, instead of hiding from each other. The book drags a little in a couple spots but when the kettle begins to boil, you feel like the steam was worth the wait.
The story is about Clarice a romance writer with writers block, due to a recent heart break. Clarice rents a remote cabin to try and work on her writing in the Scottish Isle of Skye. Where she meets Derek McMillan.
Derek McMillan is a bachelor farmer who rents out his cabins for extra money. He is mainly a loner, due to his secret. He is a shapeshifter. When he first saw Clarice he pretty much regret letting her stay. He immediately notices her beauty. He never expected to meet his true mate but the Werebear in him wants her too. Both try to deny the attraction. But somethings cannot be denied, and this attraction is one of them.
GENRE: Romantic Suspense
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

BLURB:

Social worker Jordan Bia finds a child who escaped her captors and a life in the sex trade, but four other girls from her small Mexican village were not so lucky. Smugglers hide their human cargo in the hoodoos of a remote canyon on the reservation—a place the Navajo shun, fearful of the witches who practice their black rituals and feast on the dark energy of evil. Mysterious rites, omens of death, and bodies litter the canyon.

When she meets Navajo police officer Sam Tohee, sparks fly fueled by the danger of hunting men who buy and sell little girls. Techno savvy Jordan plots to trap the smugglers and free the rest of the children, but unless she and Sam can find the power to defeat the witches she may not live long enough to save the girls.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt One:
I walked down the center of the shadowy street, far away from men who might slither out of alleys and doorways and grab me, a lone female. The woman whose child I had come to check on lived over a bar when she functioned well enough to remember where she lived. She and the child were nowhere to be found. I had tarried too long, and the night hovered under the thin crescent of moonlight that marked the time between the dark moon and the new moon. Clouds scuttled across the moon, darkening the sky.
The puny glow from the single streetlight outlined two men slouched between boarded-up buildings, smoking and swigging from bottles sheathed in tattered brown bags. They catcalled and hooted, "We got whatcha want, girlie." I scurried faster to my old Honda Civic, parked a block away. My heart pounded and my calves burned from the effort to put distance between me and their drunken lewdness.
Soft crying, a sound more like a wounded kitten than a person, stopped me in the middle of the street. I cocked my head toward the dim alley but only saw shadows. The pitiful sound drifted out, forlorn and frightened. I scanned the street for movement. No one was there. I walked on my toes to the mouth of the alley. Nothing stirred. Tiny fingers of light trickled into the alley from the streetlight. "Who's there?"
The crying became snuffling, and then silence.
Footsteps rustled. I called into the darkness, asking if anyone needed help.
"Si," the voice whimpered.
