US Art Supply 16" Tall Tripod Easel-Pine Wood-Painted Black (Pack of 4 Easels)
These are great tripod easels. They are made of pine. They are 16 inches tall. They come assembly required. The problem I had is you get no instructions on how to assemble. You do get all the wood and hardware, and no tools are required at all to put these together. They look very elegant and are great for making your artwork or for showing it off. These are 16"High x 12-1/2"Wide x 10-1/2"Deep and weigh only 12 ounces.
I received this product for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
Audiobook Review of Resuscitation by D. M. Annechino
This is the 2nd book in the series by D. M. Annechino featuring lead Character Sami Rizzo. This book can be read as a stand alone but if you read the first book "They Never Die Quietly" it will add more to a few references in the book. The book is a very fast paced always something going on book and I really enjoyed it.
Sami Rizzo was a homicide detective in San Diago until she was kidnapped and nearly killed by a psychotic Killer. now she is going to school to become a social worker. She is living with her ex-partner Al. She thinks she has it all. until bodies start turning up who were killed by someone who is doing vicious medical experiments on them. Sami realizes she misses police work and goes back to solve the case. The killer is good so far he has left no witnesses and no evidence. Until he gets sloppy and leaves one of his victims alive. She is barely alive and he has to figure out how to get rid of her without getting caught.
I thought I had the killer figured out in this book, but I was very surprised at the end when the killer was named.
I really enjoyed this quick moving book. I did listen tot he audio book which was read by Christina Traister. She done a amazing job with her narration. 'You were right there in each conversation. /you could hear every emotion in the book, She really brought the characters to life in the book. i will be looking for more books narrated by her.

Book Blast for Fairly Certain by Deborah Ann Davis
Fairly Certain
by Deborah Ann Davis
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
GENRE: Young Adult Fiction
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
Fairly
Certain is the unlikely adventure of nineteen year old Petir Capota, a computer
geek who finds himself back in the days of Robin Hood after falling out of a
tree in Connecticut. He awakens surrounded by a band of young British
scavengers, clothed as if in Old England. His instinct to freak out is tempered
by the arrival of a fair maiden wearing a bow…and arrow. Normally, fair maiden
types don’t go for computer geek types, but for some reason, Petir is fairly
certain he can do whatever he wants in this realm.
With the conflict of
the Royals escalating, Maid Rianne has joined the outlaws hiding in the forest,
outwardly defying the handsome and accomplished knight to whom she is promised.
She is fairly certain she merely feels flattered by Lord Petir’s uncensored
admiration of her skills with the staff and bow, the same unmaidenly pursuits
disdained by her own knight. However, that does not explain the quickening of
her pulse produced by Lord Petir’s unguarded gaze.
The outlaws bring Petir
to their camp to tend his injuries. To Petir’s delight, and to Maid Rianne’s
dismay, they invite him to join their merry band. It’s all fun and games until
she is captured by the enemy. Now, a geek with no ability to defend himself
must find a way to rescue the fair maiden.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt:
Petir gently jostled Maid Rianne. “Lord Robert’s a jackass,
Rianne. How can he not appreciate what an incredible warrior you are?”
She blushed at his words. “Lord Robert knows what it takes
to compete. ’e is correct. I have never succeeded.” She eased away from him.
“You are kind, although you do not understand competition.”
But she was wrong. No one would compare Ping-Pong to
swinging a sword, but the principles were the same. He had to choose his words
carefully if he was going to make her hear him. “I understand enough about
competition to know the only one you really compete against is yourself. Who
cares if you win against a bush-league opponent if you played your worst? Where’s
the honor in that?"
"There is none, of course."
“Right, but if you achieve your personal best, who cares if
you lose? You can’t control who shows up to compete. You only have control over
who you bring to compete.”
Maid Rianne regarded him with her mouth open after his
outpouring of words. “Yea verily, Lord Petir. Ye must teach me about your
Ping-Pong. It has served you well.”
Once again, he took her by the shoulders. They were firm and
warm under the fabric of her dress. He ignored the thumping in his chest caused
by her proximity. “Go compete, Maid Rianne. Show them what a true warrior can
do.”
Maid Rianne took a deep breath and placed her hands on his
cheeks, drawing his face down to her. She kissed him soundly. “I will win this
tournament for you, m’lord.” Grabbing her discarded bow and quiver, she darted
into the fair, leaving him reeling.
SereneLife PSLMSQR10 - Bug Zapper Electric Light
I live in Florida where the species of bugs out number humans probably 100 to one. We have ugly bugs, cute bugs, strange bugs, big bugs, little bugs, get the picture. Anyway lots of bugs and I would say 99.9% of them BITE. A bug zapper is a must have not just during the summer either, these bugs are out year round. So I hung this one about mid way of my back yard on a large shepherd's hook. My husband and I were setting on the back porch and let me tell you, this light got annoying. All the popping, cracking and zapping. I did not get bit by anything, but those bugs got bit by this zapper.
The zapper is about 11 inches tall and about 6 inches across. It is kind of oval shaped. It has a sturdy ring at the top for hanging. It does come with a power cord. I am not sure how waterproof the power cord is so I the end in a plastic bag and wrapped a rubber band tightly around it. This is a great light and it really works great.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Case, Protective Bumper Case 5-Pack by Boxeroo for Samsung S6
I love having a case to protect my phone. I really love having a bunch of cases to switch out with my outfit, mood, or whatever. This set of 5 bumper cases, is great. The colors re very vibrant and I can change out my phone case 5 times a week. These bumper cases are very soft and flexible but yet strong and durable. They fit snugly. All of the buttons and openings are in the correct spots. These really add no weight to my phone. The rubbery feel of the cases give me a better grip on my phone too. I really love the pink and the purples ones. The green, blue, and bacl ones are nice also.
Audiobook Review of They Never Die Quietly by D. M. Annechino
This is a great book. Once I started it I couldn't stop. The book is about a Religious fanatic Simon, who kills women in front of their small children. He feels that killing these women purifies him. His mother who has been dead for years keeps telling him he is doing God's work.
Sami Rizzo is assigned to head the task force on the case of the murders. She wants to end the terror so much so that a handsome face clouds her judgment at first, before she becomes suspicious of the man who she is attracted to.
She ends up in the middle of the insanity herself.
This book is very fast paced. From page one this book drug me in and didn't turn me loose until the last period in the book. There is just enough description of surroundings to keep you in the know but not so much as to bore you. At least not for me. D.M. Annechino has done a great job with this book. I can't wait to get started on the next book.
I listened to the Audio Book which is read by Christina Traister. She does a wonderful job. you can feel the characters emotions in her voice. She as well as the book has a way of keeping you involved. I really like when listening to a audio book and the narrator makes it sound more like a conversation then just a fat book. You know when the character is smiling because you can hear it, I will be looking for more books read by her.
I was given an audiobook by the Author in exchange for my honest review.
