espionageEspionage (Book 1):
France, 1944: Nobody expects Peter Eddy to survive his first commando mission—to retrieve a code book stolen by the Nazis—so when he does come back alive, his success is rewarded with an even more daunting assignment. Partnered with French Resistance leader Jacques Olivier, Peter must identify which of three Allied contacts in Calais is a double agent and use the traitor to help implement a strategic Allied diversion that might win the war. Peter secretly crosses the English Channel to confront the suspects one at a time. But what appears to be a clean assignment soon turns disastrous, and even the aid of Jacques and his sister Genevieve can’t prevent a Gestapo triumph. As the Allied invasion approaches, treachery in the least likely places leads to fresh graves in the bloodied European soil—and only the power of loyalty and love can transform tragic endings into new beginnings.

sworn enemySworn Enemy (Book 2):
After narrowly escaping her Nazi captors, French Resistance worker Genevieve Olivier has fled to Allied territory with the help of American Lieutenant Peter Eddy. Their connection is undeniable, forged in the crucible of danger. But despite their blossoming feelings for each other, they must both finish the work they began . . .
In the safety of England, Genevieve hopes to find purpose as a nurse—all the while unaware that the Gestapo still seeks the woman who slipped through their grasp. When she is called upon to resume a life of danger as a French spy, will her desire to prove herself be her downfall?
Recruited by an elite special-ops team intent on thwarting the Nazis, Peter finds himself engaged in a personal battle as well—there is a traitor among his comrades. Deep in the Carpathian Mountains, Peter combats an unknown foe. The stakes are high as he fights to save the lives of his teammates.
They are miles apart, yet as Genevieve and Peter fight for their own survival, they find a common well of strength in their faith—and their determination to be reunited.

deadly allianceDeadly Alliance (Book 3):
When Peter Eddy and his commando team inadvertently upset the Soviets during their most recent mission, they never imagined the diplomatic nightmares that would ensue. They have one chance to redeem themselves: tasked with destroying a bridge in Nazi-occupied Bosnia, Peter and his war-weary team reluctantly agree to drop behind enemy lines. The assignment should be a simple one—were it not for the fact that they are being deployed on a suicide mission.
Genevieve Olivier is devastated by the news of Peter’s disappearance. After all they’ve endured in this war, the determined OSS worker is unwilling to simply let go of the man she hopes to spend her life with. Desperate for information, her work as a courier soon escalates into a counterintelligence duel with a Fascist assassin—and Genevieve is his newest target . . .

Praise for Espionage, Sworn Enemy, and Deadly Alliance:
This historical fiction WWII series is amazing! Seriously tense action, intrigue, death-defying danger, strong characters, and even a hint of romance. Sowards really does her research and makes readers feel as if they are right in the middle of the action in different settings throughout war-torn Europe. These aren't your normal WWII books; they are much better.
~Charissa Stastny, author of the Bending Willow Trilogy

A.L. Sowards is a master at telling sides of stories from history that aren't overdone or commonly shared. These books took me on an unexpected journey and they each brought up issues that I hadn't really thought about before. I loved learning information about this time period, while being thoroughly entertained by the events happening to some beloved characters.
~Katie, blogger at Katie’s Clean Book Collection

A.L. Sowards has been a favorite author of mine for years. I was enraptured by the first book in her World War II series, Espionage, and fell more in love with the characters with each book. Her knowledge of World War II is unreal and the way she weaves the historical aspects in is so gripping I could hardly set these books down. I would highly recommend this series, especially if you're a fan of historical fiction.

~Cami Checketts, Author of Shadows in the Curtain

Intrigue, horror, and romance all wrapped up in this brilliant WWII trilogy. A.L Sowards did an amazing job at bringing the time period to life for me. I highly recommend all three books in the Espionage series.

AL SowardsAuthor A.L. Sowards

A.L. Sowards has always been fascinated by the 1940s, but she's grateful she didn't live back then. She doesn't think she could have written a novel on a typewriter, and no one would be able to read her handwriting if she wrote her books out longhand. She does, however, think they had the right idea when they rationed nylon and women went barelegged.

Sowards grew up in Moses Lake, Washington. She graduated from BYU and ended up staying in Utah, where she enjoys spending time with her husband and children or with her laptop. She does not own a typewriter. She does own several pairs of nylons.
Her books are known for heart-pounding action, memorable characters, careful historical research, clean romance, and family-friendly language. Several of her novels have been Whitney Award finalists in the historical fiction category.

All Bright Emergency Auto Escape Rescue Tool With Flashlight and Beacon

This is something every vehicle needs to have in their glove box. You just never know when you may need it. On the news daily there are horrific car accidents on the highways and some of them could of had better outcomes if they had of had one of these. Also if you get stranded at night and decide to walk for help one of these with its lights could keep you from getting ran over and also help you see where you are going. You could also set it on the r beside the car to let other drivers know you are there. If you are stuck in the car because your seat belt won't open you could cut the strap to get yourself out. If you cannot get out of the door you could break a window with this.
The flashlight part has 2 settings one is a regular flashlight that shines through the top and also the side for about 3 inches. It also has a red flashing light. There is a siren setting where it will make a siren noise if you are lost or hidden. It has the pointed hammer for breaking windows. It has the seat belt cutter. The blade is hidden up in the plastic and even little fingers can not get into the blade.
Like I said every vehicle should have one. These would make great gifts or stocking stuffers.

GENRE: time travel erotic romance

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
Museum director Tasha Banner needs a miracle. Without a great deal of luck and even more money, the pioneer museum will close. But when they demonstrate a Scottish New Year’s tradition, a tall, dark, and yummy stranger walks through the door. Have the faeries sent her a miracle wrapped around the man of her dreams or will altering time bring disaster to them all?
Blacksmith Dougal MacBride walks into his home after a long day and finds strangers celebrating Hogmanay when it’s just days before Christmas. Confused beyond belief and incredibly aroused by the curvaceous bundle in front of his hearth, he is torn between the need to return to his time or remain in the present with the woman who may be his soul mate.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Excerpt:

She motioned for him to stand by the table like the others. Defiantly he remained by the door. “Welcome to my home on New Year’s Eve.” “Are ye daft woman? We’ve not even had Christmas yet.” Dougal didn’t know what they were doing pretending today was New Year’s Eve, but he’d have none of it. All he wanted was his sup and his bed. He turned and opened the door. “Be gone with ye. And take yer friends with ye.”

When she took a step closer to him, he saw the storm brewing in her eyes. “I’m Mrs. MacBride, a Scottish woman in the village and we are celebrating Hogmanay, a Scottish New Year’s tradition.”

“I know what Hogmanay is.” Dougal leaned into her. Her scent was one of sweet baking and spicy woman. He’d never been so instantly attracted to a woman before, but he had to keep his wits about him. “I also know yer not Mrs. MacBride and, with that accent, ye’re not Scottish either. Now be gone with ye.”

The brazen woman raised her hand to stop the others from leaving. Anger flared in her eyes, turning them a thunderous gray. She clutched his elbow, and her heat rushed up his arm and through his chest, causing his breath to catch. The pot of stew in his hand swayed and its lid crashed to the floor.

“How dare you order me out of here!”

Dougal brushed her hand from his arm. “How dare ye be here!”

Micro USB Cable 3.3ft/1m 10-Pack by Boxeroo

With so many devices now days needing Micro USB cords to run them or charge them. You can just never have enough. This 10 pack is a great thing. Everyone in my house always seems to be loosing their cords, some are lost permanently others they find in weird places. I used to have 3 in my car, but for some reason they all have walked off so now I have a old cheap one that is hard to get anything to charge with. Now that I have this 10 pack, I through that loose on in my car away and put 3 in my car again. My Daughter has already snagged 3 or 4 of these and my husband put one in his car. I think I need another 10 pack. Out of the ones I have personally used I have had no problem at all out of them. they hook securely to my charger and my laptop and the micro end hooks securely to my devices. Nothing I hate worse then a  bunch of cables that just looking at them they fall out. That is not the case with these. I also like that they are the 3 foot length. Great for charging and using the device at the same time. I also love the braiding. To me the braided cables seem to last longer. These would make great stocking stuffers.

Stylus Pens, Boxeroo 5PCS Universal Capacitive Touch Stylus & Ballpoint Pen

I am very happy with these stylus pens. All of the ink pens write. Now that is a huge plus over some I have bought in the past from other companies. The stylus work very well I don't feel like I have to push really hard to get the stylus to work. I do like that the they all have a shirt clip on them. My husband likes that part also. He has been using one at work. He has to bounce back and forth between his touch screen phone and writing notes on paper all day so being able to use one implement is great for him. I keep one in my purse, one attached to my tablet case, my daughter snagged one and my husband has one he keeps with him and one at work in his desk.

Splatter Screen by RUKI Home

I really like this Splatter Screen. It is large enough to fit my 10 inch pans and it does keep the grease from flying all over my stove. I had a very old Splatter Screen that the screen was coming loose on and it was time to replace it. This one actually feel a bit more sturdy then the old one I had. This Splatter Screen has a stainless steel mesh and outer ring. It does have a plastic handle, so you may want to make sure it is laid on top of the pan handle and make sure it is not over or close to the burner. I like that it has a handing hook. My old one did not have a hanging hook and the wire was pushed loose from the edge by being stores in a cabinet. This can be hand washed or tossed in a dishwasher.

Valdler Retro Wool Nylon Hat Feather flower Fascinator with Net Yarn Flowers

I love hats and the fancier the better. I love how beautiful this Flower Fascinator hat is.  I also love quality hats. I have a couple hats by Valdler and they are great quality. The netting on this hat is firm but flexible, it is not something you are afraid to touch for fear or ripping it. The ribbon, feathers and beading are all beautiful, they are put together in a flower shape. The stitching on the hat is is tiny but strong. The hat is made out of a wool nylon.
 I could wear hats daily and I usually do even around the house. This Flower Fascinator hat though is meant for special occasions and is just beautiful. I have the perfect lace dress in the slightly off white color the same as with this hat. I will be wearing it to an engagement party later this month.
