Hiking Compass - Military Marching Army Outdoor Camping plus Bonus Clip! by Orange Shopping Deals

My husband and Son in Law both were in the military and they both decided to play with this compass, my husband is old school military and he was very impressed with this compass. He said it was close to one he had. Both said it was very accurate and a really liked the metal casing. They also liked the compact design.  This also comes with a nice small compass on a carabiner. Both of them really liked everything about this compass. So I took it away from them and will toss it in as a stocking stuffer for my Son In Law for Christmas.
The compass is about 2 1/4 inches wide, 3 inches long folded and 6 inches unfolded. The Carabiner is about 2 1/2 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide.

Jelly Comb [ Whisper-Quiet Series ] Wireless Bluetooth 3.0 Mouse

Great mouse. Works very well with my Lenovo laptop. It does not need a receiver it is bluetooth. it  paired very easily with my laptop and I have had no problems at all with it. It runs on 2 AAA batteries which are not included. There is no receiver so if you are not blue tooth enabled this will not work for you. We have 4 computers in the house and my laptop is the one only one bluetooth enabled so I can only use this with my laptop. It scrolls smoothly and very quietly. The top buttons are silent.  It has 2 buttons on the side where your thumb goes to go back and forth between pages. It is a great mouse, I only gave it the 4 stars because there is no receiver at all with it.

book blast for Next Door to a Star by Krysten Lindsay Hager

Next door to a starNext Door to a Star by Krysten Lindsay Hager

Hadley Daniels is tired of feeling invisible.

After Hadley’s best friend moves away and she gets on the bad side of some girls at school, she goes to spend the summer with her grandparents in the Lake Michigan resort town of Grand Haven. Her next door neighbor is none other than teen TV star Simone Hendrickson, who is everything Hadley longs to be—pretty, popular, and famous—and she’s thrilled when Simone treats her like a friend.

Being popular is a lot harder than it looks.

It’s fun and flattering when Simone includes her in her circle, though Hadley is puzzled about why her new friend refuses to discuss her former Hollywood life. Caught up with Simone, Hadley finds herself ignoring her quiet, steadfast friend, Charlotte.

To make things even more complicated, along comes Nick Jenkins…

He’s sweet, good-looking, and Hadley can be herself around him without all the fake drama. However, the mean girls have other ideas and they fill Nick’s head with lies about Hadley, sending him running back to his ex-girlfriend and leaving Hadley heartbroken.

So when her parents decide to relocate to Grand Haven, Hadley hopes things will change when school starts…only to be disappointed once again.

Cliques.

Back-stabbing.

Love gone bad.

Is this really what it’s like to live…

Next Door To A Star?

Excerpt
The school year should end right after spring break, because all anyone can focus on is summer vacation. You can’t learn anything new, because all you can think about is all the fun stuff you’re going to do once you don’t have to get up at the butt crack of dawn. Summer always seems full of possibilities.
Nothing exciting ever happens during the school year, but maybe, during summer vacation, you could run into a hot celebrity and he’d decide to put you in his next music video. Okay, it wasn’t like I knew anybody that happened to, but my grandparents did live next door to a former TV star, Simone Hendrickson, and Simone was discovered in an ice cream parlor one summer. Of course, she lived in L.A. at the time and was already doing plays and commercials, so the guy who discovered her had already seen her perform. But hey, it was summer, she got discovered, and that was all that mattered.
Amazing stuff didn’t happen to me. You know what happened to me last summer? I stepped on a bee and had to go to the emergency room. They’re not going to make an E! True Hollywood Story out of my life. I didn’t go on exotic vacations—like today, I was being dragged along with my parents to my cousin’s graduation party. Most people waited until at least the end of May before having a grad party, but Charisma was having hers early because she was leaving on a trip to Spain. I was dreading this party because I didn’t want to listen to everybody talk about how smart and talented Charisma was—making me feel like a blob in comparison—but my mom RSVP’d even though I said I’d rather die than go. My death threats meant nothing. But still, for some strange reason, I had a feeling this summer was going to be different.

Praise for Next Door to a Star:
From Readers’ Favorite:
Next Door to a Star by Krysten Lindsay Hager is a heart wrenching tale of a young girl growing into her teen years….Hager's main character is representative of every teenage girl. The author really nailed the reality of a young girl's early high school years. I think this is a valuable read for girls ages 12-18.
From Kelly Smith Reviews:
Hager wrote from a teen's perspective, and it gave the book a very authentic feel. She has a real gift for that, something many YA writers lack these days. She reminds me a lot of a modern Ann M. Martin or Judy Blume.
From Author Erin Fanning:
If you, like me, have a soft spot for young adult novels then author Krysten Lindsay Hager should have a place on your bookshelf. Ms. Hager brings the teen years to life with absolute perfection in Next Door to a Star. Handling multiple plotlines with an expert touch, she’s crafted a young adult dramedy that on the top layer is a story about Hadley Daniels, an average teen whose only ambition is to fit in, have a few friends, and find her place in the world.

BLURB:

Kya Hawl is an architect on the Precinct One redevelopment, a prestigious and contentious project in the city-state of Velli. While she is happy with her part-time female lover, Judge Elmi Chadee, she wants more. She wants a family and children, for that she needs two men willing to put their life on the line to breed.

Tref Xant and his partner Dru Macon seem like the right guys; however, Tref has secrets and Dru is about to deploy to Precinct One, one of the roughest precincts in Velli--the redevelopment can’t come soon enough. Tref would like to see the place burned to the ground. But even that wouldn’t be able to erase his memories of growing up there.

With Dru away Tref finds himself falling for Kya. Jealousy sparks between the men. A triad can never form as Dru wants Elmi and she has sworn off unions after her sister ran away to join the Terrin Sect.

As riots erupt and the redevelopment is threatened Dru realizes he has to fight for what he wants--something Tref learned long time ago. A four-way union--while unusual--would work. But will the women agree when they learn of Tref’s past?

Excerpt:

“Mmm.” She pressed against him; her wings opened to encircle them. “I want to sink my teeth into you.” The words tumbled out even though she had no right to say them, or ask him to make that sacrifice. He wasn’t hers. They weren’t that close.

He groaned and nuzzled against her neck. His teeth pressed against her skin but didn’t break it. She wanted him too. She wanted him so much at that moment. It was like she was solstice crazy. Those old stories suddenly took shape and had a meaning she’d never realized before. The Huntress had never meant to kill her lover, but she hungered for him and had lost control.

People walked past, laughing, whistling.

Kya closed her eyes and took a shaky breath that filled her lungs with his scent. It was sharp and sweet—perfect for him. She placed her hands on his chest, let her fingers splay over the muscle. She had to regain control. The summer night thrummed in her blood. Unrequited hunger and lust burned in her body.

Had she ever wanted anyone quite so badly?

If she tasted him, would she go too far?

No, she was in control of her body. She was not a slave to biology. She wouldn’t kill her lover—he wasn’t her lover. She should just go home. She would not fall victim to solstice lust the way so many people did, and she most certainly didn’t want any children yet. But as his hands cupped her butt and brought her closer so she could feel him hard against her belly, she wasn’t so sure she could resist. Or that she even wanted to.

“Have a taste; go to bed with me on your tongue.” His voice was rough. His hands were still on her butt as he moved against her with unspoken promise.

Solar Lanten, Image 5 Mode Hand Crank Dynamo 36 LED Rechargeable Camping Light by AGPtEK

This lantern is the kind we need to have around here in Florida. The power tends to go out a lot with all the storms we get during the summer. I live in the middle of the Ocala National Forest. Trees are always falling on power lines. If we get a lot of the rain the trees get top heavy and then a gust of wind topples the trees over since their roots are close to the top of the ground and we don't have dirt we have sand. So we are in the dark a lot. Granted the power company is good about getting the power back up but sometimes it takes a couple of hours. Setting in the dark is not fun. This is also great for camping.
With this light there are 5 ways to charge it. There is a car charger cord, a wall socket cord, solar, 3 AA batteries (not included), and a hand crank. You can also charge your cell phone with this lantern, via the built in USB port. There are 3 LED lights.  The lantern has 2 settings high which is 36 lights and low light which is 18 lights. The lantern is water resistant. The lantern is very light weight and easy to carry and pack. It is 10 '' x 4 1/2 '' Hook Height: 2 1/2 '' .

Samsung Galaxy S6 Case, Boxeroo 5 Pack Pastel Colored

I love these pretty pastel colored bumper cases. They look so pretty on my phone. They fit snugly. All of the buttons and holes are in the correct spots. I have no problem plugging my charger and headphones in. The buttons are easy to use with out straining or wiggling to find the right spot. I also love that the set comes with 5 cases in 5 different colors. I can match my outfit or my mood. I love that these case are protective as well as pretty. There is a slight lip that protects my screen from drops. The case protects my phone from scratches, dirt, smudges, finger marks and if I drop my phone it will cushion the impact.

Caron & Doucet - BBQ Gift Set Bundle: 2 Items - 1 BBQ Grill Oil & 1 Microfiber Cloth

This is by far one of the best Grill sets out there. I am pretty much in love with this lemon scented grill oil. Not only does it smell amazing it works great. This Grill cleaner comes in a aluminum bottle and a sprayer is included to put on the bottle. It also has a very nice microfiber cloth for wiping the grill with. It all comes in a very nice gift box. This grill set bundle would be a great gift for anyone who loves to grill. Usually people think men, well I am the griller in my family so I would love to receive this grill set bundle as a gift.
The grill oil like I said has a amazing lemon smell. It is made from all plant based material and is totally safe for being around food. it has citrus essential oils and coconut oil. The coconut oil will help block moisture from hurting your grill. Being as his oil is made of plant material you don't even have to rinse the grill off. Just spray it on, wipe away the grime and you are ready for that next steak or burger.
I have used the cutting board oil from Caron & Doucet and loved it. It was a very high quality oil that was great for my cutting board and this Grill oil works just as well. I am sold by the products this company makes and love that they are food safe.
