Universal Phone Car Mount + Free USB Car Charger by LibreLife

Nice phone works great when hooked to my windshield. I like the clip for the phone holder. This clip type holder is new to me but I really like it. Makes it so much easier to get it on my phone then the type that you have to stretch out and try to hold it with one hand and get your phone jammed in with the other. I have a Samsung S6 phone and I have it in one of the wallet type cases, even with my case on it my phones fits nicely in the clip. The suction cup is very strong also.
 it also has a car charger as a bonus. The charger fits in the lighter slot of the car and uses a USB wire to charge your phone while in the car.

TCP Global 12' x15' Extra Large Heavyweight Canvas Drop Cloth - 8 oz 100% Cotton Duck

This is the best drop cloth I have had so far. This is actually a canvas type material. It is not plastic or sheet material. it is very thick and if you were to drop paint on it it is tough enough to actually hold the paint instead of letting it go on through. And it is huge it is 12 feet by 15 feet. It is hemmed on the edges, so to me that means toss it in the washer and reuse it. I am all about reusing things. My Daughter says I should hang it on the wall as a canvas and paint on it to decorate a spare room we have.  This could also be used to cover a couch I have that my dogs have claimed as their own to keep it from getting dirty. This drop cloth has many more uses then just catching paint droplets.

Christmas Tree Storage Bag for 6 Foot Tree, White by Ohuhu

This bag is going to be perfect next month when I take down all of our Christmas decorations. I have a total of 5 Christmas trees each decorated in a different theme and every year I break them down and shove them in a  box and the smaller ones go into garbage bags. With this amazing bag I can put a couple of the trees in here fully decorated. I have 2, 3, and 4 foot trees. This bag will hold a assembled 6 foot tree or a 9 foot broken down tree. I love that the bag zips closed, it has 2 handles on it for easy carrying. The bag is made out of durable, moisture-proof, tear-proof polypropylene. It is like the material tarps are made of. This bag is also reusable not like a lot of the thin plastic bags that last maybe one year and then you have to replace it, with care this one should last for several years.

Excerpt :

I started working on my PhD in the fall of 2007.
My husband and I had secured new full-time
jobs and moved to metro Atlanta one month
earlier, with our eight-month-old daughter in
tow. From the outside looking in, this goal
looked like a pretty lofty one, working on a doctorate
degree while working full time and fulfilling my roles as
wife and mother to a husband and a young infant. But for
me, those first two and a half years of coursework were, for
lack of better words, a piece of cake. I had a certain
mindset, a focus that was unshakable. I also had this
unexplainable confidence about myself, which proved to
give me an advantage at the perfect time.

Approximately two and half years into my program, I
traveled to Minneapolis for a residency, during which we
were encouraged to begin the search for our dissertation chairs.
The dissertation, an extremely long piece of writing
with lots of research, usually required to obtain your
doctorate degree, was the final piece of the puzzle to
complete my doctorate. There are several procedures and
processes in place to walk you through the creation of this
extensive body of research. The first step is to secure a
dissertation chair, or someone who takes the responsibility
of guiding you through the process. I quickly perused the
list of potential professors who shared similar research
interests with me and settled on one name. She was not
only an accomplished researcher, she happened to be the
Dean of the School of Psychology.
I signed up to have a one-on-one consultation with her
during the residency, knowing that this would be my time
to pitch her my research proposal and ask her if she would
be my chair. I sat down in front of her, full of excitement,
and proceeded to tell her my research interest, African
American mothers and daughters. Looking back, I really
had no idea what I was talking about. I could barely
articulate to her what my research ultimately entailed, but
one thing I emphatically stated to her, “I have chosen you
to be my chair.” She laughed, and I’m sure she was taken
aback, since students do not typically tell professors what
they’re going to do. But I had an undeniable confidence in
myself and knew that, with her in my corner, I could get
this degree completed. She gave me a tentative yes and
required me to submit a proposal to her that evening. I
spent at least three hours that night working on it, but
once I submitted it to her, the deal was sealed, and the rest
is history.

Just two short months later, that undeniable confidence
was no more, and I was stuck. Two and half years of
coursework had culminated in me standing at the bottom
of yet another mountain, the dissertation. The U.S.
Department of Education has estimated that the average
doctorate attrition rate is between 40 to 50 percent. Of
those 40 to 50 percent, African Americans earned only 6.1
percent of the doctorates awarded in the 2006 – 2007
academic school year, despite making up 13 percent of the
population. Can you see how the odds were stacked
against me? Of course, knowing all of this information
prior to beginning my doctorate journey didn’t exactly help me,
and I reached a point that everything camecrashing down.
I was completely overwhelmed. Fear inevitably set in.

Book Blast for Relapse in Paradise by Roxanne Smith

Relapse in Paradise
by Roxanne Smith

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
GENRE:  Contemporary Romance
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

BLURB:

Still stinging from her recent divorce, Emily Buzzly heads to majestic Hawaii to soothe her wounds. But once she arrives on Oahu, Emily discovers that a man she assumes is a beach bum is in fact her personal tour guide, hired by her sister. With his long hair and tattoos, Boston Rondibett is everything Emily detests—despite his sun-kissed surfer body. And with her straight-laced, executive persona, Emily is everything Boston rebels against. But both have a lot to learn about making snap judgments…

As it turns out, Boston’s real job, the one he truly cares about, is running his soup kitchen and homeless shelter. Embarrassed by her assumptions, rather than lazy beach days, Emily soon finds herself feeding the hungry, and even involved in the search for an AWOL soldier. And to Boston’s surprise, she’s loving every minute of it—and he’s loving seeing her loosen her chignon and be the admirable, beautiful woman she is. As each works through the challenges of the past, these two very different people just might find their hearts are on the very same page…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt:
His blue eyes turned pleading. He gripped her hands and shuffled. “I mean, I’d try. I’m going to try. I told you, Em. I’m ticking off boxes, not swinging blind. Still, it’s hard to imagine how I could make someone like you happy.”
Right. Because, as Jordan so kindly pointed out, her lofty expectations would be the end of them. She swallowed the lump in her throat. “Boston, it’s not a matter of being good enough. It’s a matter of practicality.”
His gaze went hard. It was like watching ice form. “Practicality? I shouldn’t be surprised it comes down to mechanics with you.”
Every last item Jordan had pointed out ran through Emily’s mind with a sudden clarity. “This isn’t a fairy tale. A little feeling isn’t the answer to every small concern. Our differences are real. They matter. And Jordan’s right, I don’t have the empathy it takes to forgive the kind of mistakes you might make. And you helping her. It seems like a bad recipe. The kind that might get someone hurt.”
Someone like me.
The proverbial door slammed against her. His face shuttered, impossible to read. “So, it’s a trust thing?” Nonchalant as royalty, Boston backed away from her. “Eh, I don’t blame you. You’ve got reason enough.”
Maybe he meant the money. Maybe he meant Jordan. Didn’t matter. The answer depended on the question, and the real question was how could it possibly end between them? Boston sulky and resentful in an Armani suit. Emily burning with mortification when asked what her significant other did for a living. One or both of them stranded in a place they didn’t want to be.
Only desperation, Emily’s old and dear companion, could compel her into yet another relationship with no promise of a future. That, she kept to herself.
Hopsooken Travel Neck Pouch Passport Holder with Rfid Blocking
I am very impressed with all the room in this small pouch. There are lots of pockets and compartments in this. This is made of a very lightweight nylon which is also waterproof. The back is made of a mesh material that will help keep you cool while wearing this. The pouch's strap is adjustable and could even be worn as a cross body bag. I like it as a cross body bag for keep all my goodies while riding on the motorcycle. I can carry everything in this, my ID, my money, my credit cards, my phone, my mp3 player, and actually a lot more will fit. I really like that this has 2 large pockets with zippers, these really help for keeping things double safe.
AStorePlus® 8 Pcs Nail Art Design Detailing Drawing Painting Brushes Dotting Pen Set White
These are very pretty very nice quality nail art brushes. I really love the wooden handles and the pretty black on white design. There are 7 brushes and a dotting tool in the set. All of the brushes are in different thicknesses and have different shapes. All of them are great and will work well with anything you can imagine to pain on your nails. I have had some brushes that cost a lot more and didn't work half as well. So far the bristles have not shed at all like some brushes tend to do. These work well with nail polish remover, and the bristle color has not faded at all. These would also make a great gift for anyone who enjoys nail art. They could also be used used as fine paint brushes for regular paint.
