My Review: Thirty Scary Tales (Illustrated): Horror Stories (Kindle Edition) By Rayne Hall

Rayne Hall does it again. I really like her writing style, her imagination, and the way she drags you into her stories. Thirty Scary Tales is not a horror book with blood and guts its more a thriller. I have read a couple of Rayne's books and this one to me is better then her others. At the end of each story she has a short description of how she came up with the story. Some of the stories in this book are a different twist to some popular fairy tales.
My favorite story in the book was: By your own free will. She says it is a twist on the Little Mermaid story. In the story Marian has an IQ of 163 and is in Love with a co-worker Josh who doesn't seem to notice her at all. Marian visits a witch in order to get a love potion. The witch tells he she doesn't do love potions but if she would trade 20 of her IQ points she would do an allure potion which would not take Josh's free will away from him. Marian agrees. Josh notices her but it's not enough for Marian so she visits the witch again, who tells her she will do the Allure potion again for 20 more IQ points, Marian agrees. This goes on until Marian is no better then an idiot, who still doesn't have her man.
This is a really good book. I am so glad I was given the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review. I wouldn't let small children read it though. The stories are really kind of creepy and things nightmares are made of. #raynehall

My Review: Pura d'or: Premium Organic Argan oil Conditioner for Hair (16 fl. oz.)

Premium Organic Argan Oil Based Conditioner- Lavender Vanilla:
99% Vegetable Base Ingredients
Manages Frizz
Enhances Shine
Argan Oil Based
Paraben, Sulfate and Gluten Free

I was chosen to receive a bottle of this conditioner in exchange for my honest review.  Honestly I love this stuff!!  It smells wonderful, which is always a good thing. I used this for almost a week and my dry frizzy hair is very happy now. It is so much easier to manage, my hair is soft, no longer like straw. my hair is now shiny, where last week it was dull. I love the fact that it is all natural with no sulfates, parabens, or gluten. I love Argan oil. To me Argan oil is pretty much a miracle product for everything to do with the outer body.  I read other reviews on this before I received it, wanted to know what I was getting myself into. On one review I read that the person used a small amount as a leave in conditioner, so I tried it over the weekend when I knew I would be home just in case it didn't go as planned. It worked great!!! Using it as a leave in conditioner this huge bottle will last a really long time since you only need a squirt or less.  It comes in a plastic bottle with a squirt top which I love since slippery substances and lids do not go together to well.

My Review: Pura d'or Premium Organic Argan Oil Based Scalp & Dandruff Shampoo

Premium Organic Argan Oil Based Scalp & Dandruff Shampoo:
Helps Control Flaking, Scaling and Itching
Soothes Scalp
Moisturizes Hair
Paraben, Sulfate and Gluten Free
All Natural

I was chosen to receive a bottle of this shampoo in exchange for my honest review. My whole family used this shampoo to try it. My Son In Law has dandruff and a crew cut so we used his head the most to see how well the shampoo worked. After just a couple of times the flaking was pretty much gone. He also said the itching was gone and his hair was soft.
I have some dry scalp due to the beauty products and hair spray. My hair is also very dry and frizzy. After using this shampoo my hair is soft and more manageable. No more itching either.
It does have a strong smell but then so do all Dandruff shampoo's. I do like that it is all natural,  and has no sulfate or parabens. It's also gluten free.  It doesn't lather up like a lot of shampoo's. I don't feel you need a head full of bubbles in order to get your hair clean. I love the fact that it did not make my hair feel like straw. You just can't go wrong with Argan oil though. It is also a bit pricey but the bottle seems to last a long time, unless you are going for that head full of bubbles, then it will go pretty fast. i also love the pump bottle. Shampoo lids are a little hard to deal with one handed.

My Review: Vegetarian Quick & Easy - Under 15 Minutes E-Book By Jonathan Vine

Ok so I am not a vegetarian, just someone looking for a healthier way to eat. I am also a recipe freak. I love to cook and try new recipes. Quick foods are also a huge thing in my book, so when I was given a chance to have this book for my honest review I jumped on it.
So far I have read the book twice, marked several pages, and even made a few of the recipes. The cheesy mushrooms are to die for. The summer pasta salad is amazing, and the vanilla french toast is a great way to wake up.
Not only does this book have 100 really great recipes that take less then 15 minutes to make but it also has a great introduction to being a vegetarian.  And the conclusion is like a pep talk from your own personal Dietitian. Jonathan Vine has really done a great job finding these tasty recipes, even put some pictures in to make you drool. He has also given you a lot of great tips for changing your lifestyle, or in my case expanding my lifestyle to include vegetarian recipes. He breaks it all down so it's easy to understand the points he is trying to make. He explains the different types of vegetarians, the reasons people become vegetarians, the benefits of becoming a vegetarian, He also has a section on time management for cooking, which is also a good read for meat eaters.

My Review: The Salvation of Vengeance by Nancy Haviland

The book is really good, fast paced, sad at times, has the Russian & Italian Mob, and my favorite HOT Bikers!!
The story is about Nika Payne, who in order to keep her only brother Caleb who is also her only living family member, out of jailed is forced to marry Kevin Nollan who is Satan himself. For all of the almost year they are married he uses Nika as a punching bag.
When Nika gets an invitation to her best friends wedding, even her husband knows she has to make an appearance. So they leave Seattle and fly to New York for the wedding. At the last minute Kevin decides not to go to the wedding with her. She is the maid of honor. After the wedding she is changing back into her clothes when her bruise covered body is spotted. No one knew she was being abused and no one knows why she is staying with her husband. She has told no one that he has evidence of a murder her brother commited on disc, and will turn it over to the police if she ever leves him.
All the beatings are worth it to her if she can find the disc and save her brother. She finally found the disc right before the wedding but could not get it then. After the wedding she escapes from her brother and friends and goes back to the motel room and her husband, where he meets her with a punch in the face. As she is taking the beating, her brother and a friend show up at the door. kevin dives out the window trying to take the evidence with him but she is able to get it.
Vincente Romani Aka the Reaper becomes Mika's night in shining armour. He is the one who spotted her bruises, he andd her brother are the ones who came to her rescue with her husband, he is the one who helped get her medical attention. He also has a past, his little sister was kidnapped, where she was sold into prostitution and addicted to drugs, and died from an over dose. Which Vincente feels guilty that he couldn't save her. He is in love with Mika but thinks he has nothing to offer her plus she is his friends sister and off limits.
This is a very good book. It is the 2nd book in the Wanted Men Series, but as I done read it as a stand alone. Thare are only a few refences in the book that you would need to read book 1 in order to get the full gist of what they mean. I will however be picking book 1 up, and can't wait for book 3. I was given my copy of this book for my honest review, but that had no bearing on my feeling for this book or my review.
